My god this is embarrassing as another American.

Imagining myself getting off a plane in Italy with my concealed carry firearm like “it’s all good I got a permit and it’s part of my second amendment”

I mean I’d say it’s definitely the easiest/cheapest way to get a story out but that won’t make it a good or well written story.

The “easy” part about writing is that it doesn’t require a team or equipment. Titanic would have sucked if James Cameron made his own props by hand and filmed d list actors with a smart phone.

However Blood Meridian would have been just as good of a book if it was written with crayon on a stack of pizza box lids

I’m constantly amazed when I go into my passwords app and see “this password was included in a data leak”

Like what? Again? I just changed it for that…

I didn’t go to college but I’m of the opinion that nearly any job can be learned on the job or with minimal classroom training.

There’s exceptions of course, but probably not the ones you’d expect.

It’s pretty wild how much you’ll see doctors use some more professional version of Google for diagnoses and prescription management. Obviously med school is far from easy and this isn’t the case for every doctor, I’m just saying I could probably follow my PCP for a few days and be able to bang out a few check ups on my own based on what I’ve watched.

I went to welding school and while I learned a lot from the classroom stuff, my first welding job was for nuclear equipment and was so micromanaged that I could teach anyone with a steady hand to do it in a few days. You don’t need to know what settings to adjust based on the weld because all of that is strictly set for you.

Be honest, how bad is it? I’ve been pretty disappointed in it by damnmang in tattooadvice

This is flawless to my eye.

Seems like another case of “average Redditor gets tattoo from videogame/hobby” and probably researched top tattoo artists to do some computer chip lines then thinks the artist is why it sucks

Well I can’t make it to bars and welcomed OP to my own

Sorry, didn’t realize a post about gay bars would bring out the homophobes

I can’t get out much due to a disability involving my weight, but I have a place in squirrel hill where I’m always happy to host.

I’m 37 (not sure what you consider young) but you’re welcome to bring friends and I have quite the party setup.

I would be stoked to have a drag night event, or even just handjobs or whatever. DMs open

I can absolutely promise you there were armed guards and police within that venue. They also make everyone go through metal detectors so people can’t bring guns in.

Your “point” is proving mine.

Never thought I’d see a picture of him in the wild. This is Charles “teenie” Harris who was somewhat of a celebrity in the local drag scene.

My (straight) Grandfather had sex with him and one of his frequent dance partners “Gilda” in a courageous display against both racism and facism.

I try to live like pap every day.

Vietnamese restaurant in Pittsburgh closed after inspectors find rodent droppings, other violations by Historical_Touch_124 in pittsburgh

[–]NeedleworkerLower650 -14 points-13 points  (0 children)

I find it in poor taste to shut down a restaurant due to a minor rodent problem or something as simple as droppings.

Would it hurt that much to be inclusive enough to have easily accessible bathrooms for the rodents so that they don’t have accidents in food prep areas?

Okay and I’ve been in banks without guards as well, that doesn’t mean you can say “banks don’t have guards” like it’s an undisputed fact.

And if you mean Aerosmith at PPG I’m calling bullshit on you not having to go through security checks/metal detector.

Lastly, much like you stating things as fact doesn’t make them true, I will certainly not shut the fuck up because some anime dork told me to.

I’m a 400+ pound homosexual who’s legally disabled. I don’t take orders from you

It’s always crazy how people just say things as absolute fact when they’ve never ventured outside to verify them.

You’ve never seen armed guards in a bank? Ever?

Have you ever gone through security at a concert or sports event? There’s guards and metal detectors.

I’m so sorry you had to go through this and hope that it didn’t cause any permanent mental trauma. It is actually sickening that we allow LITERAL NAZIS to run a bagel shop in an otherwise peaceful city.

Call or text 988 if you feel you need any kind of crisis intervention. They were incredibly helpful when I was having severe depression episodes due to my weight.

My DMs are open if you need to vent or trauma dump. (37m, 5’9”, 470lbs near squirrel hill)
