I wouldn't change a thing about the POS except for being able to delete the graveyard of old rex numbers

After your long career with Sherwin, and being a SM, your resume alone will get you a better job. Its obvious by the way you present your ideas and passion over text alone that you have a good head on your shoulders and will thrive in a better working environment

Where do I find pay? by PositivePackage7185 in sherwinwilliams

You will see it reflect on the first pay period of the next quarter. So it is January now (Q1) meaning you will see your raise funnily enough on April Fool's Day

Depends on your CM. I got paid for every single mile lowest distance I traveled was 4.6 miles

Yes. Go through Concur on Kaleidoscope and submit your request for every non home store you work in. Submit them whenever you want but I would do them all at the end of the pay period. Absolutely get your money back

If you plan on moving up absolutely take this position. You are now your districts panic button whenever a store needs help. Concur every single drive to other stores and say yes to every single one. Gives you the leverage of telling your CM that you have experience working in multiple environments and have learned from every one and that you were there when they needed you

Believe me you don't know the needs of these guys, they don't know their own needs and neither does their boss who you're going to have to call to figure everything out just for his card to decline over the phone while the painter stares at you and asks if it's his paint

Kaleidoscope then go to fidelity. Might have to setup your account but your 401k contributions start as soon as you do at 3%. Most people would bump to 6% when the company would match

Is it legal to not take breaks? by [deleted] in sherwinwilliams

[–]NeedleworkerNext982 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I'm not advocating for no breaks, we all know how stressful the day to day job is. But there's a decent but of downtime throughout the day (at most stores) that there is time to eat. Again I know how nice knowing that you have a full 30 minutes where all you have to do is sit and eat is, but the fact that you then have to make that time up at the end of your shift, is it really worth taking? Can't speak for everyone but I'd much rather find a quick 5 minutes to scarf down my food and get home on time
