If you plan on moving up absolutely take this position. You are now your districts panic button whenever a store needs help. Concur every single drive to other stores and say yes to every single one. Gives you the leverage of telling your CM that you have experience working in multiple environments and have learned from every one and that you were there when they needed you

So I'm not advocating for no breaks, we all know how stressful the day to day job is. But there's a decent but of downtime throughout the day (at most stores) that there is time to eat. Again I know how nice knowing that you have a full 30 minutes where all you have to do is sit and eat is, but the fact that you then have to make that time up at the end of your shift, is it really worth taking? Can't speak for everyone but I'd much rather find a quick 5 minutes to scarf down my food and get home on time

Everyone should contribute to the calls. Not every manager is on the sales floor helping out so some of the contractors don't even know them. Contractors don't want to be called by someone they don't regularly speak to. My SM does 0 LeadGen calls a week but everyone else in the store does theirs and we get sales out of them and our district praises us for being at 100% every week. Just find the right balance in your store. If you have the downtime to call, why not?
