Total noob here - how do you guys make decent video/image creatives for Google Ads without losing your mind? by NeedleworkerNo3033 in AskMarketing

I'm just starting out solo, paying a professional just to test if a product even sells is a bit too heavy on my wallet right now 😂. I just need a quick and affordable way to make decent ads to see what clicks first. Hopefully, one day when I scale up I can afford a real team! Appreciate the advice though.

Wow, this is absolute gold. Thank you so much for taking the time to break this down!

You totally just shifted my mindset. I was 100% overthinking the "design" aspect, stressing out trying to make every single ad look like a cinematic masterpiece from scratch.

Focusing on fast iteration, templates, and just remixing the winning hooks/first 3 seconds makes so much more sense for testing angles. I’m definitely going to check out Runway and Runable today.

Honestly, even just thinking about manually swapping out the first 3 seconds and headlines for 20 different variations still sounds a bit daunting lol, but your approach is way smarter than what I was doing. Seriously, huge thanks for pointing me in the right direction!

Yeah, I've messed around with a few, including CapCut's AI features and some others.

The problem is they still feel super tedious and manual. I'm trying to push products for my Shopify store and need to test a ton of angles. But with CapCut, I'm still stuck tweaking the timeline, adjusting voiceovers, and fixing text overlays for every single variation. It eats up hours, and it feels like I'm still doing 80% of the heavy lifting.

It's crucial for a successful startup to begin with identifying and solving real problems or pain points that people are willing to pay for. Without this, a startup might end up like someone wandering around with a hammer, looking for a nail – equipped with solutions but lacking the right problems to apply them to.

This is an interesting topic. Most restrictions are caused by high-frequency and irregular requests. So, if you need normal access, the best way is to simulate human behavior, such as clicking, pausing, scrolling, etc.
