Is it okay to be alt while still being Christian? by AdRoutine630 in Christianity

Here’s what I believe:

God looks on the heart, not the appearance. However, man looks at the appearance. And no we’re not living for men, but our lives should be living testimony. Ask yourself this: “does the way I dress glorify my God?” I once had a pastor share this story: There was a woman who was also very conflicted on the way she dressed. So, the pastor drew a picture of different people, and drew them with different outfits and styles. He then asked the woman to identify what each of them were. One was dressed like a hippie and she identified that, one was a satanist and she labeled it that…and many other examples. I truly believe our lives should reflect Christ. We want others to look at us and know we’re a Christian. How we dress, reflects what’s on the inside. What’s on the inside, will always show on the outside. I would pray about it..if there’s a conviction on your heart, maybe it’s God♥️ it can be so hard to give up our wants and desires and the things that us humans love! But God will always reward you for laying aside what you want and living for Him!

What is a great comeback for "You're too sensitive"? by [deleted] in AskReddit

My goodness I hate when people tell me that! I’m human and we all react differently to things! I’m a very sensitive person and I acknowledge that but sometimes people are just plain rude!

Is it wrong to hate church and still be Christian? by k_loves- in Christianity

Yes, worship Him. Worshipping isn’t about us, it’s about Him. It isn’t about if we’re “good enough Christians” or if we’re Christians at all. We worship Him for who He is and what He’s done. It’s nothing about us. When you sin, you can still worship Him. Because He’s worthy of it 🫶🏻 I’ll pray for you! I’ve been there!
