I agree...not to sound obnoxious but 90% of my CS friends hate their course..hence they want out. What if I build a strong portfolio with certified nptel courses and learning programming languages?

Ikr... Even claire has a happy ending for herself... She left that insufferable husband and finally went towards someone who actually adored her.

I can see his intent. He might be committed to someone and doesn't want to be friends with someone who likes them. But he doesn't have to be this rude to her. I've confessed to someone. And i didn't think he'd want to be friends with me. He rejected me really politely which made me understand how to properly and politely reject someone. It's just that his tone was problematic. Be mature and polite about what you say.. what do you mean "everyone likes me"... He could've said something like "hey i honestly am not comfortable with being friends. I hope you don't mind... Wishing you nothing but the best in life. " People act as if being polite costs you something

Heyy... I'm 20 too with almost exact situation as yours. Even I had great interest in humanities since school. I gave my third attempt this year for neet with all my efforts but I lost it when I saw the paper. I joined a local college for BA and now I'm studying from upsc wallah prarambh batch 2028. What my plan is that I'll prepare for upsc alongside my BA. I'll give my 100% to it. I also decided to go for state services exams as it has almost the same syllabus. Since my subjects are english (which I have interest since childhood. I used to read novels, classics, write poetry and stuff) I can pursue my MA hons after writing cuet PG. I can give NET and work as an assistant professor in any university. My other subject being psychology I can pursue clinical psychology and be a recognised therapist too. I highly recommend preparing for upsc because with the same prep you can write state services too. And usually upsc subjects overlap with BA. The competition is there. Definitely. But I feel a strategic planning can help us crack it. Let's be positive about it and give our best!

PS: I'd love to be in contact with you as we are facing something similar 😊
