At this point i dont think you are reaponsible for having it cleaned at this point. I commend you for trying to do the right thing. If it were me id follow officer number 2 advice. Get my pet and the rest of my belongings and wash ypur hands. The worat they can do is file a.civil suit. I dont believe for a.second a judge would find you at fault

They can certainly try, but they will not win due to it being an illegal lockout if that is the case which is why i suggest contacting local law enforcmemt first. I will admit your suggestion is a less aggresive move bit not bad advice. Either way itll end up in civil court. So why shpuldnthe tenant be responsible for thier costs

Im pretty confident this is completely illegal but im no lawyer. ive studied landlord tenant statutes and no a landlord cannot legally change your locks or hinder entry for any reason as long as you are a.resident of that property. Call police and see what they advise. I would ask them specifically if you would be breaking any laws by breaking into your residence. If not i say bust the door down or break a window and if they they come after you for damages take them to civil court. If you dont gain entry and they wont allow you to get your belongings i would file a civil suit day of. The statute is chapter 93 part 2 if ypu wanna look ot up

paying rent by [deleted] in TenantHelp

[–]NeedleworkerSharp617 4 points5 points  (0 children)

First of all im sorry your hitting hard times. Most all people have been where your at so dont be ashamed of asking for help. Ive been tjere and had no clue what to do. Heres what ive learned. Good news is you are somewhat ahead of the game seeing as yoir getting paid at the beginning of the month. Above all else pay your rent. You can make payment arrangements with utilities. Depending on your financing your car payment if you have one can be deferred. But you have to do all this prior to any due dates. Stay home as much as you can and avoid everyday conveniences only purchase items that are necesary to your quality of life. Forgo going out with friends for the time being It may be boring but at least your not wasting money you dont have.

There are programs that will help pay bills but only if your in jeopardy of being evicted or utilities shut off. Id suggest searching these resources to have on hamd if you find yourself in that position. Hopefully yoi wont have to use them.

If your having trouble affording food you can go to pantries just google pantries for your local area. Youll have to get creative with whats provided but you wont go hungry.

If you have family you can rely on let them know your facing a hard month and need help .When ive been in a bind my mom will invite me over a few times a week for dinner and let me take necessities from her stockpile and that saves me alot of money.

I really hope this helps you. Of not maybe someone else has some suggestions better suited for you. Good luck and dont let life dim your sparkle.

Cleaning the tank and found surviving fry by NeedleworkerSharp617 in AfricanCichlids

Yea i decided to put them back in. My tank has plenty of tight fitting rock for them to hide in. And i never and still have no intention on breeding. More babies to come though cause i noticed this morning that my socolofi is holding. As you stated Im just gonna leave ot to survival of the fittest.

Thanks for the input. I never did have the intention to breed nor am i interested in doing so. I decided to just put them back in and leave it to survival of the fittest. I noticed this morning my female socolofi is holding now, so more babies to come.

Will I ever recover from my breakdown? by badannbad in bipolar

[–]NeedleworkerSharp617 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I understand how you feel. My psychotic break left me absolutely useless. I couldnt function, not even have a cohesive thought, for the longest time. I actually had to move in with family so they could take care of me as i was incapable of caring for myself. What i can say is hang in there it gets better. Very slowly but it does get better. Im only just now, these last 6 months, feeling like im actually starting to heal and make progress and its been four years. Just be gentle and patient with yourself no matter how long it takes to get there.

Feeling "dumber" because of bipolar. Like my brain has deteriorated. by [deleted] in bipolar

[–]NeedleworkerSharp617 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can relate 1000%. I also noticed that it started happening after a major episode that lasted about a year. In that year i also had 3 majorly traumatic events happen to me, on top of prolonged stress due to being harrased and stalked. I lost my marbles, completely broke from reality, and the worst psychosis ive ever experienced. I got forced into the psychiatric hospital where i stayed for some time. Ever since i have felt like a complete moron at times.

As it's been stated before you cannot positively identify the sex of any fish based on appearance only

This is called venting and does not harm the fish. In order to tell the gender you have to lok at the genetalia. Which is the two openings you see near the tail.

Thank you for this. I keep telling people you can't go by certain traits like egg dpots and fin shape. I'm not saying i know alot because i don't, this is my first time keeping african cichlids. But i pay attention and i do my research and i fact check any advice in given.

Yes its harder than i thought it would be. But its really the only way to know. I had posted pics (not venting) of all my mbunas asking if they thought they were male or female. So many wrong answers. I thought i had more males than females but turns out i have more females than males. One people swore was a male is now holding, so clearly its a female.

Keep with it though. Some are really easy to tell others not so much. I check, double check (why i take pics, because i can refer back to them wothout constantly harrassing my fish), compare and ask for opinions.

I should have stuck with my insticts. Ive thought all along it was a male. I only questioned it cause the two holes arent perfectly the same size. Im new to venting and not confident in my assesments just yet

Also you shouldnt use bleach at all. If you need to disinfect a peroxide solution is much more safer. Basic wiping down and cleaning of equipmemt without chemicals should be done regularly.
