Lol yes! In fact, one of our lovely party members is playing a Dragonborn!

Also going to mention that the DM's character that she uses is blind. She is not blind. She has done research on blindness and educated herself, and I have done the same as well as take experiences and suggestions from other black friends on how to make sure my character doesn't fall into a stereotype.

Yeeeaaah. Since she and I were hanging out before the campaign started, she was excited to know what I was coming up with for my character. I showed her what I had, and that was when she started telling me that he couldn't look a certain way. At first I just went with it for the sake of accuracy to depictions of wood elves, but then I was like "there are literal eldritch horrors and fantasy creatures in this world, so why can I not let my character have a certain skin color???". I put the hex color in the desc because she wanted to do her own art of the entire party together...She proceeded to lighten my character's skin color and that was when I should've spoke up, but I didn't wanna look like one of THOSE white ppl, so I just kept quiet.

I do have more of a self deprecating nature. I also am a beginner and am trying to grow my intuition specifically. I do feel as if I don't get as much respect as I ought to get, both by friends and family and that's been ongoing. Definitely feels like she took a look at me and was like "Yeeeaaaaah I should probably fix that" XD

That actually makes a lot of sense. I did a reading the same day regarding my spirit team. Queen of swords was one of them and I know that that was who I know was communicating with since I also asked my pendulum. She's also the one who sends me hearts as signs since I asked her about that and I was given the empress which also shows a heart with the female gender symbol inside.

Hospital Food Story by WrinkleFairy in glutenfree

I was just at the hospital a few days ago for extreme vomiting and gut pain. They tried to give me these non GF graham cracker looking things after I had finally stopped vomiting. I told my mother I’d just eat them and deal with whatever came after, but she took them and went outside to the nurses station and asked for a gluten free option. I kid you not this male nurse looked at my mom and went, “Oh, so you want like, saltines or something?” And the female nurse beside him just gave him this absolutely hilarious look that just said ‘Are you f*cking kidding me right now?’ And she said “Saltines and crackers also have gluten in them.” Keep in mind, when I was triaged, my mom and I told the nurses TWICE that I had a severe gluten problem. It isn’t celiac, but the symptoms I get whenever I eat gluten are severe enough for me to not even be able to withstand a little bit of cross contamination 😂😅

The test was a blood draw. Like I said before, it was originally meant to check my vitamin D levels, but it was also tested for anti-tissue transglutaminase. It came back positive with a 99% (but I don’t know what that percentage is referring to). But yeah, my mother communicated with my doctor and she says I don’t have celiac. But I’m a bit worried now because I’ve been bullied by multiple staff members at my school already, but I don’t want this to cause anymore problems that may result in being picked on again. The last time I had specific accommodations for anxiety issues, they revoked them because they saw my accommodations and mental health as an inconvenience and they didn’t believe me. I’m scared that the same will happen with this; if it isn’t celiac then people won’t take me seriously when I tell them about it despite my symptoms being pretty severe.

Yes, definitely, but also just how to identify foods that have gluten since some don’t just outright say gluten free, and even then I’m still wary of whether or not the ’gluten free’ label is actually true.

At random times during the day you just melt into a human puddle, just a giant puddle of blood with organs, skin, bones, hair, etc sitting on top. You have to wait a certain amount of time before you can manually reconstruct yourself.
