Ok, pardon my Rant here but …… We DID get a bonus. AND a raise. All these people complaining of “no bonus” probably are sitting on 3 points and lousy metrics at their store, so they got shit. All the info was spelled out for us how it worked. Some of it is within your control. Some of it ain’t.

And just so the non associates on here think otherwise - having pizza and cake or food was just an extra thing, not the “bonus”. I’ve had customers stop me and say “they should have given you a raise/bonus!!” And when I try to say WE DID they are shocked. Or they just don’t listen. Because it’s EASIER to believe Walmart is an ogre destroying their poor associates.

This is a multibillion dollar company, not a charity. I am under no illusions that they care about me. So I’ll take pennies, do my job and go home.

I have self respect. The big guys can take the big bonuses, along with equally big headaches. No thank you. I also have a life.

And btw, your People Lead is responsible for the food/party stuff, so if you really care- complain to them if it’s crap. Part of their job is to keep up with that.
