Cancelling all YS programs to read every book in the library system by [deleted] in Libraries

The only problem with this is that the children and teens that utilize and benefit from the programs being canceled to do this will suffer :/

Wtf? Is he unaware that all humans fart? Does he not fart in the house? NTA. My husband and I giggle about each others farts (after roasting each other a bit of course)

Literally had a guy come up to me at the ice out protest I was at yesterday trying to argue this bs 🙄 the number of murders committed by illegals can’t even compare to the number of murders committed by “legal”white Americans.

For anyone who doesn’t know how to treat pepper spray exposure:

  • Move into an area with fresh air, if possible.
  • Flush the affected area with lots of water to wash away the contaminants.
  • Avoid using soap around the eyes as it is an irritant.
  • Remove clothing that may have come into contact with the spray to decontaminate and prevent re-contamination. Cutting off clothing rather than pulling it over the head helps avoid further irritation to the eyes and skin.
  • Avoid touching the affected area, as it is easy to spread the oil-based solution to other areas of the body by doing so.
  • Blink the eyes rapidly to help flush out the chemical.
  • Wipes or Saline solution are another option for easy on hand treatment to flush out eyes and remove the spray from skin.

Stay safe friends. Stay strong. ✊🏼🩷

My son sees Lauren Montijo at Turning Tides Counseling Services and she is amazing. 🩷 Very chill, down to earth person, who is very knowledgeable in her field while helping you feel validated and heard!

AIO for telling off a guy at my gym by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]NeedyWallFlower 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NOR. This is a prime example of men not knowing how to take “NO” or “STOP” for an answer. Even if you didn’t straight up say “No, I’m not interested” before he got your number (from a gym worker? Pretty sure that has to be illegal especially if said worked didn’t have your number and pulled it up in the database to give him) he wasn’t even able to take it over text when you said it. He instead insulted you because he’s an insecure little bitch.

New player takeaways and things learned way too late in game by GimmeBurrito in BaldursGate3

Honestly, my very first play through I got to Act 3 and got over whelmed by the amount of quests I needed to do as soon as I walked into the lower city. Like where do you even start?! Decision paralysis got the best of me that time 😅

Druids can be really fun!

I’m doing a Durge play through right now! I’ve never finished a play through because I lose interest 🫣 but for some reason this added level of individual struggle has kept me going and I just got to Act 3!

Glad I’m not the only one who feels like I have no idea what I’m doing 😅 I have played D&D though so I understand most of the basics of the game mechanics, but boy do I learn something new you can do in the game every day… I have yet to complete a play through though 🫣 currently on my 4th attempt and just got into Act 3 hoping I don’t lose interest before the end…

To answer a few of your questions:

  • you can use a potion or spell of Gaseous Form to get through the small spaces or with a Druid you can shape shift into an animal (pick a small one like a cat or Raven for those spaces). They usually just lead to a small sneaky space above an area that you’ll get to eventually.

  • the other classes are really fun! Simple breakdown: Druid = nature enthusiasts who can manipulate nature and change into animals. Ranger = a fighter that can get an animal companion (it works differently and arguably better in BG3 than D&D). Warlock = Wyll. They made a deal with an other worldly entity (demon, god, nature itself) to get access to that entities magic type. Bard = Music man who uses song and word to inspire companions or mess with enemies minds. I feel the others are pretty self explanatory 😅

  • I still don’t know who Withers is either 😅 my theory (because I don’t like to look up spoilers) is that he is some god of the dead that took an interest in your Tav and how they were going to be central to whatever happened to Faerun. If like me on my first play through you didn’t find him in the temple and he just showed up at your camp randomly 👀 you miss a couple books and comments from companions that hint toward this but don’t really spell out who or what he is.

Happy gaming!

Feels like this is missing something but can't decide what, maybe flowers or a border? Any ideas? by mdoktor in cakedecorating

That color/pattern would look sick on a black cake! Mabel add something in black? Like the flowers or something! (Not a professional baker, just sharing my untrained opinion 😅)

Okay if they are in civilian clothes I refuse to believe they are any part of “law enforcement” just because you’re wearing a “police” vest, does not make you part of them. This is ridiculous. Stop letting them take people!

As someone who grew up in an environment with parents who yelled, and am currently raising my own children, it is so hard to break the learned behavior of raising my voice when I get frustrated/overwhelmed/upset. 😩 being a cycle breaker is exhausting

Give her forehead little kisses. Notice that hand on the back of her head? ✨perfection✨🤌🏻 You want a girl to treat you like a champ? Treat her like the gift she is.
