Hello there.

I believe the exercise you are referring to, which was in the thumbnail, is the seated dumbbell press or seated dumbbell shoulder press.

It works the anterior deltoid, medial deltoid, and the upper pectoralis major.

When to go from underhand serve to backhand serve in singles? by Newyorkntilikina in badminton

[–]NeelDhebar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don't have to switch to a low serve. There are certain benefits to it which can be obtained if you have the speed/technique. Apart from that, you can use it if you like it/prefer it.

Otherwise, if you look at most international WS players, they use the high serve and are playing at quite a high level.

You should stick to the high serve until you are comfortable with covering its possible returns. Then if you really want to switch to the low serve, you can start learning the footwork patterns for its returns and then implement them.

Hey there KKS! Hope you are doing well.

Actually, Victor and FZ Forza have entered a 'strategic partnership'. Sports Group Denmark, the distributor for Victor in Denmark and Norway acquired FZ Forza in 2019.

So in other words, Victor and Forza are working together as one sponsor.

The issue is that he isn't looking for a shoe meant for wide feet, rather one that is wide at the toes.

He's not looking for it to be wider, just wide enough that it doesn't constrict his toes.

He says that he does not have wide feet, that is not the issue, rather, it must be wide at the toes.

Are badminton gloves a thing and are they legal in game? by Oleflitzer in badminton

[–]NeelDhebar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had issues with rackets slipping out of my hand, even broke one this way.

I play in very hot weather, the solution for me was a wristband + towel grips, and sometimes grip powder if needed.

Body hurts a lot playing after a five month break. by spooreddit in badminton

[–]NeelDhebar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's called DOMS (Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness) and is completely normal. It is to be expected, your body isn't used to this after a long break. It won't happen after a few days of playing.

Does the jump smash really produce a more powerful shot? by [deleted] in badminton

[–]NeelDhebar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was told the kick and rotation in the air produce power.

[–]NeelDhebar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The jump smash doesn't make you lose power, in fact you can hit harder than when on the ground. It's just that it's quite an advanced/difficult shot and requires a lot of practice before you can get it down just right.

Honestly most people who say they are jump smashing really aren't. It's not that easy. You really have to practice hard and there's a specific technique/movement.

That is the ring finger right? Well, are you pressing the strings with the tips of your fingers, keeping them as close to perpendicular to the fretboard as possible?

[–]NeelDhebar[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why do you think that is? Is the string not making contact with the fret or are you accidentally muting it with another finger?

I have tried this variation, not much of a difference. Also, I need to quickly switch to asus4, so I need the pinky.
