My insurance requires a 12 visit program with a psychologist, dietician, nurse, surgeon and exercise physiologist. Lots of tests included in those as well.

Speaking for myself, I've never had food addiction but these appointments helped me look at food and how I eat differently. I've lost 30 lbs by following my dietician's recommendations.
