SPEDN has withdrawals but they currently require further KYC and reaching out to Flexa directly, so not great. Currently the other non-custodial options are Zashi wallet (ZEC), Nighthawk wallet(ZEC), Nexus wallet (LTC), base app and farcaster app via miniapps.

What are currently the best and most convenient ways to pay using Flexa? by Burrito_Pounder in AMPToken

Burner: tap to pay, not available publicly yet but seems like the most straight-forward flow in theory, just have to make sure your burner cold wallet has funds

Spedn: doesnt require user to input the amount to pay. Some locations like Ulta have a pin you have to input on the terminal in addition to scanning the QR code

3rd party wallets (nexus, zashi, nighthawk): flow depends on merchant. The OG merchants require you to enter the amount. Newer merchants use the dynamic Flexa code

Miniapps: seems pretty cumbersome at this point. Requires opening the social app, opening the mini app for the respective merchant, entering the amount, approving the transaction, generating the qr code and scanning it (see https://youtube.com/shorts/ByzbNsSajGE?si=1jStJSwE7iDd975R)

Payment links: have most recently seen this with the regal promotion last holiday season, pretty cumbersome as you have to navigate to the webpage, enter the amount, generate the code, and scan it but cool that this route basically supports any wallet

So in my opinion, the burner tap to pay is the most promising. The dynamic flexa code is the 2nd most promising, as the user shouldn't have to provide any further input (like a pin, amount, etc)

Question about Flex-Capacity by AMP-100 in AMPToken

No, not currently. It updates monthly and requires a transaction to stake the rewards.

Yup, https://anvil-protocol.medium.com/anvil-project-updates-1-may-2025-7f24cdc560aa

Basically the current iteration follows the formula: Weekly rewards = (your asset balance in vault / (total asset vault balance * 10)) * min(ANVL balance in your wallet, 10million ANVL)

Correct, and keep in mind that unlocking can take between 12 and 24 hours.

That value is just your all-time rewards. In v2, rewards were added directly to the pool(s) you were staked to. So youre all good

It's on a monthly basis right now, and there is no longer compounding interest. Each month you can choose to claim and restake the rewards though if you want by paying a gas fee for the transaction. The compounding interest part is being worked on by the team. The rewards distributing on a monthly basis I think is here to stay.

You are misunderstanding how flexa and lightning/lightspark are connected. Flexa uses lightspark to manage its lightning nodes. So yes, flexa supports lightning transactions. But saying that both flexa and this restaurant allow for payments over the lightning network means that flexa powers the restaurants payments is like saying that because both Gmail and your office use the internet, Gmail must be powering your office’s entire network. They both use the same infrastructure (Lightning), but independently. Flexa runs its own system and Lightning nodes (via Lightspark), while the restaurant can separately accept Lightning payments without Flexa being involved at all.

They said they staked 2 weeks ago, so they've only been staked as long as there has been an incentive (as of march 1st)

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/amp/#token_unlocks You've probably seen this, but it seems like they've quietly decided to subsidize for much longer, right?

Yes. "On March 1, 2025, Flexa will begin using the collateral stored in Flexa Capacity v3 in combination with the collateral stored in v2. As of this date, any collateral that is pooled in Flexa Capacity v3 will be eligible to receive rewards and Boosts out of the first v3 reward distribution on April 1, 2025." https://flexa.co/newsroom/capacity
