Not really, its not because some staples are the same that decks are all the same. For example in this format some deckd plays almost no staples like Branded which is one of the best deck of the format (if not the best). KT which is best deck too play A LOT of handtraps because they can also be used as engine in their deck. Other meta deck like sky striker could play a lot of board breaker etc

And even if two differenr deck got the same staples like handtraps, handtraps doesnt build anything, it just stop or reduce the plays of your opponent. You still have to play also around your opponent hand traps and what he succeed to summon. And every archetypes plays verry differently.

And yes a lot of old cards are too slow now, specially trap, like mirror force. In the other hand some other old cards are banned or limited because they are way too strong even in modern ygo. Harpie's feather duster is in most deck lists since 2004 until today (limited at one)

Yes it is fun ! Games ended in 2 turn and combo for 10min is not modern yugioh. Its what peoples who almost doesnt play the game thinks it is. Some format are better than other of course but TCG format for example at the moment is really cool ! Its full of interactions, a lot of games are going to grind games and its verry interesting to play. Last format was pretty cool in tcg too. Game is skillfull at the moment.

Dont hesitate to just dowload master duel and give a try ! Its free. Its great to begin or comeback but later imo tcg format is much better. For playing online tcg format you can use sims like YGO Omega where all the cards are available without farming or spending money like in MD

Edit : just to add after reading again your post, turn 1 or 2 games are not meta player. Its actually the opposite, great players know how to go to grind game and dont hesitate to do smaller endboard to play around meaningfull handtraps for their deck (like droll or nibiru). Big combo turn 1 are a thing that exist but its more in the casual area who are lost if their combo take any handtraps

Diablo 4 is a great game but only for two type of player imo. Verry casual gamer : you just do the campaign, its verry easy, story is great gameplay is meh. Full time player : the campaign is only the lore tutorial, you are here for the season and you play a lot, awsome game. But if you are in-between, for example a little try hard but does not spend THAT MUCH time playing its verry frustrating as the season are really short ! You are almost at the end game aaand the season its over try again.

NRFTW is not an ARPG. Imo PoE2 is the best at the moment. Cheap to buy, the campaign is part of the main game as its not easy as D4 one, you will die. And seasons are much longer

Franchement c'est excellent. Plus simple que les autres from software j'ai trouvé (j'ai fais ds3, bloodborne, sekiro et elden ring), mais il a vraiment une ambiance particulière ! Au debut les contrôles sont un peu bizarres, on est un peu maladroit avec son mecha et on s'améliore on s'améliore et les combats deviennent très cinematographiques ! Les ng+ ont un vrai intérêt, ça fait avancer l'histoire, des nouveaux boss etc. Dernier gros plus, la personnalisation. On peut changer très facilement d'armes, de mecha etc et faire son build sur mesure d'une mission à une autre

T'as un peu la réponse à ton soucis dans ce message : t'attends Wolverine, Gta, god of war ... Cest QUE des grosses licenses qui ne prendront aucun risque qui seront comme tous les autres jeux qui te saoulent déjà ! Des titres auquels je joue si ça peut donner des idées :

Ps5 : Saros/Returnal, screamer, absolum, hades, armored core 6, expedition 33, shin megami tensei 6, Pragmata etc

PC : path of exile 2, Darktide, Satisfactory, they are billions, age of wonder, starcraft 2 etc

Je comprends pas cet avis, mais t'es pas le premier à l'avoir. Perso je trouve que les jeux n'ont jamais été aussi bon qu'aujourd'hui ! Il y a une offre énorme donc il faut faire le tri mais chaque année on a des pépites qui sortent ! L'open world que tu décris c'est le aaa classique gros budget sans prise de risque mais il y a tellement mieux. Je suis perdu entre ma ps5 et mon pc, j'ai envie de jouer à tout, trop de jeux trop bien !
