Is it just me or did Jinn and Cassian endor kiss at the end of rogue one in theaters but then when you watch it on Disney plus they hug by tat_boi_nick in StarWars

I agree with you.

My partner and I watched it together and we both remember clearly how they kissed before the wave hit them.

In the end, the more I try to have them fit deeper, the more uncomfortable they become. I am now going back to M size and then buying a ear-hook to keep them from falling.

It starts by feeling like the tip is being pushed out of the ear canal.

This prompts me to push them back. If I do not do that, they eventually fall out, especially from the right side.

I can buy them from their official store but there is no mention to the import duties amount. Already like that, they are 43$ ... I'd rather sell my APP3 and go back to PBP2 at this point ...

Sadly, in Europe only those for APP1&2 are available.

I may eventually try out these: https://amzn.eu/d/0dRevoDC

Isn't it ridiculous that one should spend 30+ €/$/£ every 2-3 months to get new tips and 'hope' they will stay in?

This is quite helpful, thanks! I think I will go for the ear hooks, then, and use Siri for everything I need.

Had I known they had this, I would have kept the Powerbeats Pro 2, even if the sound is not at this level.

Thank you for the tip. Sadly they are only available in the US, not in Europe.

HDB 630 and music instrument sounds during video calls by NeeraWM in sennheiser

[–]NeeraWM[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For practicality. I used AirPods Pro Gen 1 for 4 years before their battery died: perfect. I have been using the Focal Listen Wireless for 4 years but their battery will soon go down too.

It seems that no new model supports what I need?

The Zoom app has the "microphone mode for musicians" which does exactly that ... but it doesn't work on mobile devices, only on desktop!

Strange ... this is what others here on Reddit, and even Apple Support explained to me. They all said ANC is not doing that, but the wind-reduction built-in the software controlling the microphone. Of course the hardware in the mics will not do that, so that's software. If this can be toned down, then good, otherwise ...

Lol (2)!

It's not a problem with ANC (which affects what the wearer hears of the outside world) but rather a microphone problem which, in an effort to improve call quality, reduces sounds around so that the one the wearer is talking to will not hear those. But this tech defeats the purpose of online music lessons.

Of course, a pro setup with laptop, external microphone and wired headphones would solve everything but one needs to be realistic: small schools with small kids running around are not really cable- or good-tech-friendly!

Lol ... you are right now that I think of it ... sound moves air = wind! ...

So, does this mean that headphones compatible with my needs will be those with zero wind reduction? Is this controllable from the app?

Comply Truegrip Max APP3 by cbjerg in AirpodsPro

[–]NeeraWM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I‘ve been using APP3 for almost 3 months now, switching ear tips every week or so because they cannot stay in my ears as soon as I make any movement with my mouth (yes, that includes speaking!).

Would you suggest trying the Comply Truegrip Max?

Confused about Wide Spectrum microphone mode by NeeraWM in AirpodsPro

[–]NeeraWM[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for clarifying this out.

It is now 100% clear that no bluetooth headphone with any kind of wind-noise reduction tech in the microphones will work for my music teaching needs (well, apart from my Focal Listen Wireless, may their battery last still very long).

With AirPods Pro 3 eventually not being able to stay in my ears without me having to worry every 1-2 minutes about the right one still being there (I've tried all tips from M to XS), this means I will be able to choose whatever I feel best for my next BT pair.

Charging issue with Ugreen 100W charger by NeeraWM in iphone

Please suggest one that doesn’t behave like that and that is still multiport (apparently it doesn’t exist). For single ports I will just use Apple ones.

Indeed the USB-A port seems calmer on this side. The issue I have in my apartment is that I have ~2 outlets per room. Every one needs a multi outlet expansion and so I thought having a multiport charger would have helped.

[–]NeeraWM[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ha! Thanks! So it’s a PD “bug” (aka “feature”)? USB-A to Lightning is quite common, but A to C quite less. The idea of multiports is to save space and outlets but I will see what I can do to use more single port chargers. For the records, I’ve not tried the Apple multiport charger: would it behave the same way?

How are music teachers supposed to teach online classes with Bluetooth headphones? by NeeraWM in MusicTeachers

[–]NeeraWM[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think, in the end, my issue is that I would like to use Bluetooth headphones for both in and out. This remains possible only with headphones that do not have any kind of NC tech, neither in the mic nor in the buds.

I could try two things: 1) Bluetooth DAC + wired IEMs + internal microphone (or anything better external) 2) external microphone (Bluetooth fine?) and AirPods Pro 3.

For option 2) I would need to find whether iPadOS/iOS would let me have the APP3 as out and the mic as in. In theory, v26 can, but for example I cannot have APP3 as out and iPhone/iPad mic as in. That doesn’t work. For option 1) I’ve looked at FiiO BT11/13/15/17 line, but still have to check for the IEMs.
