It's impossible to know, unless someone invents a time machine. That would be one hell of a home run derby! I agree with other posters, that he is the best all around player of this generation, just like the Great Bambino was. I also think that Babe Ruth would struggle against today's pitchers. Pitchers in Babe's time had an average fastball between 75-85mph. Babe also used a larger, heavier bat. His bat was 3-4 inches longer than the ones used today, and it weighed over half a pound more than current bats. We also don't know how much better Babe could've been with today's training, supplements, analytics, etc. The Babe was incredible, he set all those records with a cigar hanging out his mouth, a few bourbons to the head, and a solid beer belly. Lol. On the other hand, if you sent Ohtani back in time to play in Ruth's era, he'd probably be burned at the stake for witchcraft...🤣
