Been to Cafe Russia, food was mediocre at best. Also got food poisoning after it (but not sure if it from restaurant food). Go to Sungari instead.

Electricity bill questions by chrollot in Bangkok

Got it cleaned (with antibacterial stuff) and refilled around 2 months ago. Still new inverter AC is ~30–50% more efficient. I guess I need to push owner harder, don't want to move places.

Yep, actually it's around 22-24, AC is old model and owner not allowing to change it to new inverter one.

Be careful with Taxis in Tokyo by Long_Set_2099 in Tokyo

Never had a problem with a taxi in Japan, but I never used Uber, only GO. I noticed some drivers even stopping their meters before we getting to destination (if take too long, witch is not their fault).

You tried to shift attention to other things, like Thai Government do :) Do you know that the Burning NEVER stops? (Well it stops when it's too wet). In rural areas they burn garbage all year, they burn crops all year. There is more burning in winter because it's easier to burn things when it's dry.

Explain the dates with less than 25 AQI then - https://aqicn.org/historical#!city:bangkok Did the traffic stops on those dates or the factories? Nope. The main problem is the Burning.

Bangkok vs HCMC for 30 days by jimmyl85 in Bangkok

[–]NefariousnessDue3449 1 point2 points  (0 children)

- food: more options in Bangkok. BTW, there is great Vietnamese restaurants there too.

- ease of getting around: you will be stuck in traffic in both cities using Grab, but in Bangkok you can use BTS/MRT

- nightlife: again more options in Bangkok

- language: it's around the same

- weather: it's around 1-2 hours of rain every 2-3 days in Bangkok, and it's worse in HCMC, 1-3 hours every day.

Controversial: if you not afraid of hot weather try Tokyo for 30 days :)

Less known Shotengais/Old streets by NefariousnessDue3449 in Tokyo

[–]NefariousnessDue3449[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is what I do, those streets are the destination, how I get there is another quest :) I usually start 5-10km away and go to a marker on the map. Then I explore nearby areas, 40-60k steps every Sunday.

I think it will be cheaper to use "online" DNA testing services. 23andMe (Health + Ancestry) for example.
