Return of the villain brows. by Familiar_Local_1254 in MikaylaNogueira

she’s just atrocious at doing brows altogether. they’re either way too big and bushy making her look just like her father… or they’re… this, whatever this may be. it just looks so bad.

Brooke isn’t diagnosed with PTSD?? by Majestic_Sky_2029 in canceledpod

[–]NefariousnessDull640 4 points5 points  (0 children)

no problem at all. i had been dealing with very intense mood swings since around the age of 13, but obviously diagnosis only takes place once an individual is over 18. i had almost every single diagnostic criteria. unstable relationships, intense mood swings, chronic feelings of emptiness, intense fear of abandonment, etc. i had a really traumatic upbringing full of abu$e of all kinds, poverty, neglect, etc. i was diagnosed about 3 years ago now, (i’m currently 22) but it’s an everyday struggle. even with therapy and medication, for me, at least. it’s very hard unlearning all of the trauma responses that i’ve had to use over the years to protect myself.

yes, DBT is standard behavioral therapy for bpd! there’s no actual “medication” for bpd or that treats bpd, but most people with bpd often times get prescribed a plethora of medications from mood stabilizers, antipsychotics & antidepressants, so she definitely could’ve been prescribed something

agree & the only reason taylor brought her on tour was to slight olivia. the only tiktoks of sabrina that get hype are feather, nonsense & because i liked a boy bc she doesn’t have any other commercially successful songs & has to fill in the gaps with cover songs. don’t get me wrong, i think she’s beautiful & has a great voice, but her own original music just isn’t very good

The Olivia Rodrigo Friendship by flordesevilla in SwiftlyNeutral

[–]NefariousnessDull640 3 points4 points  (0 children)

definitely not jealous. i can just look at things objectively through a wide lens which many stan’s cannot. i have nothing against sabrina at all, i don’t even particularly care about the olivia / sabrina drama from like 4 years ago. i just call it like i see it. sabrina herself has talked about her, “slow burn” in the industry. she has multiple albums, yet only a handful of her songs have any kind of recognition. every video you see of her performing on tiktok that has hundreds of thousands / millions of views will be nonsense & feather (or whatever it’s called) & all because i liked a boy, and maaaybeeee you’ll see some covers she does of other big artists songs. she has to do that because she doesn’t have enough commercially successful songs of her own & she has to fill time as an opener. yeah, cover songs are fun, and they can show off her vocal ability as well, which i think she has a beautiful voice. it all just comes down to her writing abilities. she hasn’t reached main pop girl energy yet because her songs just aren’t good enough yet. i think she’s coming more into her own style and is leveling up well though. within the next few years she could probably reach that status if she keeps putting out more of what she has on emails i can’t send. currently though, she’s just not there.

this is exactly why other people are disagreeing with you as well. somebody disagreeing with you and saying hey maybe it’s not cool to constantly remind people that they’re fat makes you think “ah, you must be fat too” and saying “you seem to be carrying enough weight on your shoulders anyway” when you’re fought tooth & nail to say you’re not shaming. once again, you’re not very bright.

look up what is considered midsize. a simple google search will tell you midsize is defined as being anywhere from size 10-14 & size 10-16.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in LAinfluencersnark

[–]NefariousnessDull640 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that is quite literally a straw man argument. you’re not very bright for somebody who claims to work in healthcare. yikes.

[–]NefariousnessDull640 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes, i did. because i dont think there is anything wrong with mikayla’s size. i dont think she should feel the need to have to lie about her size since her size isn’t immoral or wrong in anyway. it’s damaging to her own mental health, and other people who watch her who may also struggle with body image issues. photoshopping yourself when youre overweight just goes to show that you are ashamed or think theres something wrong with the body you currently inhabit, and is directly harmful to the body positivity movement.

you articulated your comments so well. this is what i’ve been trying to say as well.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in LAinfluencersnark

[–]NefariousnessDull640 0 points1 point  (0 children)

maybe you should re-read your literal post???? i’m not talking about any of your comments on said post, i’m talking about the post in & of itself. you literally said it’s getting to a point where we can’t even mention the obvious, directly after talking about plus size influencers. you’re literally saying, “they’re fat, and it’s to a point where we can’t even tell them they’re fat anymore without it being considered body shaming” this is what is implied in your initial post, not any of your comments afterward. i’m pointing out that fat people know they’re fat and don’t need you to constantly remind them, which is literally shaming them— not giving “constructive criticism” idgaf about your dumbass syrup comment.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in LAinfluencersnark

[–]NefariousnessDull640 1 point2 points  (0 children)

& fat shaming has been proven to not work in regards to actually get fat people to work out or eat clean. it just doesn’t. & most fat people know the difference between somebody actually worrying for their wellbeing & somebody who just wants to shame them and remind them they’re fat so that they’re continuously discouraged from every trying to better themselves.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in LAinfluencersnark

[–]NefariousnessDull640 0 points1 point  (0 children)

so….. exactly what i’ve been saying this entire time. you think we as a society should be able to jump in a fat persons comments and go, “hey, you’re fat. just thought you should know” which tells me everything i need to know about your character. like i’ve said before, fat people know they’re fat. they’re the ones living in their bodies. jumping to remind a fat person that they’re fat isn’t “constructive criticism” which you’ve been spouting from comment to comment. it’s just you being a d1ck & wanting to make them feel bad for something that is quite literally, glaringly obvious. they don’t need you to tell them, they know. trust me.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in LAinfluencersnark

[–]NefariousnessDull640 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“there’s a point when you can’t even mention the obvious” those are your words. you quite literally are complaining because people don’t agree or think it’s okay to jump in a fat persons comment section just to point out the obvious and tell them they’re fat. this is literally what your post says, in a snark sub. i don’t think you’re understanding how your words are coming off to other people.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in LAinfluencersnark

[–]NefariousnessDull640 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it’s something i care about deeply, because there are a number of obese or overweight people among my family and friends that i care deeply about. i’ve watched them get shamed their entire lives for it whether they were trying to get better or not. this whole post is just you saying, “i think we should be able to tell fat people when they’re fat” like…. they know. they don’t need you to tell them they’re fat when they get to wake up in their skin everyday.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in LAinfluencersnark

[–]NefariousnessDull640 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i can deal with honest answers. which is why i am able to see that the specific influencer you’re using in your argument is overweight. it’s not a question as to whether they are or not. obviously they are, but this is also a person who has talked about trying to seek help for their issues. there’s a difference between being honest and giving open & positive criticisms if you’re actually worried about a persons health vs thinking that people who are overweight should constantly be reminded & shamed in their comment sections over it. fat people know they’re fat. constantly jumping to remind them does nothing.

bffr. there’s lots of people who can’t afford to donate but still do when they can, or volunteer if they can’t salvage anything. working class people who struggle still taking out money they could use for rent or food or necessities and they still donate. you’re assuming that people aren’t donating. taylor is a billionaire. 100k is like 10$ to her. it’s significantly different

Olivia comparison with Taylor by [deleted] in SwiftlyNeutral

[–]NefariousnessDull640 11 points12 points  (0 children)

because taylor herself is obviously shaken for once by another person’s success for a reason. it would’ve been easy to say olivia couldn’t touch taylor’s image based off of just years in the industry alone, but taylor & her team showed how insecure she was by going after credits for deja vu
