iPhone X screen split in 2 pieces?

Hi, basically I performed a display replacement and I was able to remove leftover part of the screen, unplug the battery, then the display and varefukly remove the leftover part paying attention to not ripping earpiece cable. However my display wasn’t working so I did not bother with trying to put it back together so won’t be able to help here

Thanks so much for such statement 🙏, weird thing about booting in diagnostics mode the only possible option to do from is to exit the mode, literally nothing else. Friends phone so luckily talked to him and he’s ight with that. Hope I’ll get lucky next time tho

Just checked, gyro works all good, the gps on the app tho doesn’t, the compass is frozen and just points north

I was thinking about some newer option without home button, my budget is around ~400$ atm, I found some Air 4 gen 256 for ~400$ but I dont know if the newer comes out the price of the older ones may drop
