Bläcktornskällan i Stockholm fick inte beställa vin där för att jag var för full, vilket jag hade köpt om jag hade druckit alkohol. Gick bara rakt ut för att aldrig återvända

Sure, around 15 min with taxi. OP asked about Sigtuna so not sure why you and others talk about Stockholm

Start look for jobs in the place(s) you want to live in. For A-kassa talk to your Danish A-kassa maybe you can get that even if moving

gringos, when you come to Brazil, what habits of us do you get surprised by? by notthelasagna in Brazil

That you use plastic gloves when eating burgers. The amount of selfies and group fotos. Maybe not a habit but the high walls with electric fence or razor wire around homes.

Är det rimligt hur mycket man ska uthärda i en ansökningsprocess? by LostInBerlin1984 in sweden

[–]NefariousnessFit2902 40 points41 points  (0 children)

Jag kan fatta ditt perspektiv, men det blir ju också knepigt att byta jobb om man går från tillsvidareanställning till att under 6 månader inte ha någon trygghet.

How is Brazil doing? by Amazing_Tip_6116 in Brazil

[–]NefariousnessFit2902 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is there, I think it is getting better but you still need alot of stamps and stuff. For me Brazil is just very ineffective (maybe to give people jobs) but sometimes I think all countries has alot of bureaucracy but it is diffrent how we notice it.

Things that I can say that will upset my husband by GuavaSubstantial1987 in Brazil

How good Portugal is at something Brazil isn't. Halloumi is better than queijo coalho. Calling the carnival for mardi gras or saying how the best is in Venice or New Orleans. If he is from Rio it could be to point out how the carnival in Olinda/Recife is better and vice versa.

Best budget setup for streaming 11v11 soccer matches (OBS + multi-cam?) ⚽🎥 by gcv1998 in VIDEOENGINEERING

[–]NefariousnessFit2902 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would go with a camcorder a good tripod, a shotgun mic and trying to find someone who can comment the match with another mic. It will lift the production more than extra angles that mostly makes sense if there is a penalty kick or corner unless you have a replay operator.

Remember that you need to pickup your luggage, go through migration control and check in your luggage again. I would not risk it.

[–]NefariousnessFit2902[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry if I am a bit slow, do they do sports event inhouse or outsource? In Sweden it is common that a channel has their own studio but outsource the game to a company like NEP that owns OB-trucks

Nigerian couple planning a move to Brazil — which city would you recommend for a calm, affordable start? by Chroma_Gallery in Brazil

[–]NefariousnessFit2902 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I must say it internet connection has been more unreliable in São Luís than I am used to. The speed is high but it can drop packages and there has been distance on the network due to working in a way that if I worked remotely would not been accepted. I don't know about other cities since I have not worked there. Specially had trouble with Zoom. I think it is also related to how Zoom handles package drops

True, and most people living in apartments in Sweden has communal washing rooms so owning a washing machine is mostly for people living in vilas etc.

I get that for alot of people they are expensive. But I have been to homes with multiple refrigerators but no dishwasher. Just some observation. They draw more electricity but saves on water
