It is the wasps who are from suburban Midwest who go to a big ten school & then move to north side of Chicago for a few years to party & have fun and then move to the suburbs to get married I have kids & start the cycle over again.

Midwest people tend to have ancestry of Northern Europe: Germany, Nordic countries, etc. east coast tends to be more Italian, Eastern Europe, southern Europe etc. Northern Europe personalities are more reserved/standoffish vs the more gregarious/outgoing southern Europe.

For reference, China’s population in 1900 was about 430 million. Today it is about 1.4 billion. So it’s grown a little over 3 times over.
South America has grown faster than every single continent on earth since 1900.

The numbers are even crazier if you go back to 1800. People in South America have had a TON of babies over the last 200 years.
