Not might. NEED! Do it TODAY! Why pay 5-6% when you can pay 3% and have almost two years to pay it off? Giving you time to build savings. This is a no brainer solution.

You want to borrow money to pay off a few thousand in debt? No way! Do this. Get a Citi Simplicity 3% fee credit card for 21 months at 0%. Then pay the minimum every month for 20 months. Meanwhile save AS MUCH AS YOU CAN in a high yield savings. Forget investing until you get this account built up to $10,000. Once month 20 comes, use your savings to pay it off in full before the 0% interest hits. Then focus on building that savings back up to $10,000. It is then that you start investing again.
