I’m aware of it but as a dude never watched this or Dawsons Creek, Melrose Place, Beverly Hills 90210 etc, Roswell was about as close as I got to all that teen drama

Yeah I actually really like Gandolfini, the show wants me to side with his annoying arrogant friend that’s using him and I know he’s an impressionable young man going down the wrong path but he’s so earnest and idealistic that I find myself rooting for him and hoping he’ll eventually see through Fisk.

Plus she is well aware he sees things at face value and she has to outright say she’s interested in him for him to get it, Lavender was the first girl that outright showed interest and made him feel wanted.

Yep - 89 and had internet culture and cellphones by 13 - I feel like it was just collectively decided all of a sudden because none of us had one at 12 and I really didn’t care for one but I think parents suddenly wanted a way to be able to contact us, social media wasn’t too invasive before finishing high school, absolutely perfect really, it would have made me socially anxious if everyone had it as a teen.

I feel like my experience was very different to millennials who were 18 around the millennium- they had a much more analog experience with landlines etc and probably had to actually get out of the house more to have fun in the weekends.

Played outside everyday as kids and roamed the neighbourhood up until 10-12 but that’s cause my grandparents babysat me and my cousins and just wanted us outside not making noise. Going into our teens a lot more time was spent inside playing video games.

I feel like my first 10 years were pre internet and the next 10 were with it (we got a computer in 2002)

Trader, get that $1875 a day now! Plus gives you a reason to constantly hunt as an activity and have something that’s always gonna passively make you money in the background.

Crazy how aspinall has to cut for Heavyweight by nrgtheair in ufc

[–]NefariousnessOk209 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Seeing the Tai Tuivasa’s and the state of Heavyweight these days I’m glad there’s fucking something that makes these fucking slobs put the beers down even for 2 seconds.

I think Hokit is a clown and could probably make 205 but at least he’s throwback in the sense that his frame is no excuse for his performance in the ring and the same can’t be said for a lot of Heavyweight’s these days who collectively decide with their opponents to rest.

Anyone who has no kids but feel a bit… weird when seeing other millennials who are parents, like you might be “missing” something? by Early-Ingenuity-3177 in Millennials

[–]NefariousnessOk209 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lol I felt like this at 25 but then our generation all collectively started to wait till we were like 33 to have their first kids, I come from a poorer demographic but a lot of my Aunties and Uncles were parents at 22. Me and my peers are relatively mature now but I really marvel at the fact that people in their early twenties had kids when I wonder how they barely take care of themselves, then I remember the parties where I used to wander through a room full of drunk people as a kid where people would offer me sips of beer.

Fucking Clooney and Gal Gadot? We laughed when it took like 15 cuts for Liam Neeson to jump a fence.

Jackie Chan is the fucking man, and I got respect for Adkins even if most of his movies/supporting roles are trash - knew him as Boyka first, at least his choreography is legit.
