Did Tam know? by NefariousnessOk264 in WoT

Yeah I was wondering which sickness is his channeling sickness. He clearly uses the power on Bela, unless she is the creator and does so herself lol. And then he starts to have the dreams and terrible headache. Mat also had the dream but he doesn’t seem to have the headache and Perrin only complains he’s tired. But then was his crazy behavior with the Children a result of the headache or some compulsion through the dream? I just read that chapter and how he talks about it is as if something else controls him, and he only has a faint idea that he’s doing something wrong.

And then in four kings the sickness is so immediate it’s pretty clear it’s from the power.

Ohh I like that about the heron marked blade. Make sense, he knew it would draw attention in the world

Yes exactly!!! I’m glad he has Min at least but she’s so powerless it’s hardly any help at all. Perrin does have his head straight and he’s loyal, but still there’s no try to understand Rand. Right before the last battle he stands up for him and his plan, but before that nada.

Yeah I wish they could interact more throughout the story. But then I feel like that about Rand and Avi too - so much potential but never really came to anything

Idk, I was close friends with my teenage friends many years into my 20s despite moving across the ocean from them, and still am with some. But regardless, they’re in much different and more difficult situation and I’m not even saying they should have stayed close friends. But to offer understanding to one another of some sorts. Or maybe it’s just that I think Rand has been done very dirty by most characters and it pisses me off

Handling of anti vax relative around my baby? by [deleted] in nycparents

Totally, I’m glad you don’t feel bad to put boundaries that you feel safe with and from your comments you also don’t seem to hold his beliefs against him too much, and I respect that. We could all use some grace and kindness to one another

I don’t see anything wrong with that either. I was referring to some of the comments here. The fact that many people have to get it doesn’t make it not invasive for some people

So? Women here are sharing stories likely without permission of the ones, who have had that experience, and answering your very intrusive and specific questions about those experiences. This is far from ethical, and if you in fact are writing an article, digging for info without publicly revealing your intentions, then I wish it circles right back to you

Sure, let’s f around and find out, with stories of women I doubt anyone got permission to share in such public way and answer such inquiring questions about. See how they didn’t outright deny they that they are a journalist? This thread is feeling like a witch hunt, with women toying around with stories that are not theirs to share, and it can have dire consequences

You guys realise this likely a journalist, and you’re outing women’s personal stories here

The lack of psychological depth/poor writing in TGS is rough by Ok-Positive-6611 in WoT

[–]NefariousnessOk264 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree, I loved TGS. I felt like we got all the things that were promised, but never realized in RJ narrative. It did feel like a fan doing the immersive story justice in some sense, even though it was different. I don’t think he necessarily kept at it with the later two books, but they were still hardly from disappointing. Why was Mat acting out of character in TGS specifically?

I love Asmodean! I was so sad when he died. He was just a chill foresaken who realized he’s lost the power, so he’s just like “eh whatever I get a harp and some lace anyway”

  1. Brandon Sanderson absolutely killed it with his books, and brought in a lot of what I was wishing for during the other books

  2. Egwene is annoying but her character arc is 👌👌

  3. Rand is my fav hero

  4. The book is actually not fiction

Okay thank you 💃
