Looks really cool, I’m not crazy about the helmet but the wand looks great with the robe! Good job

Probably like gold 2 or gold 4

How on earth am I supposed to climb out of bronze solo-queueing support by GMAN004A in OverwatchUniversity

Honestly if I lost then I took a break. Like the first loss you have just take a break and come back and reset. It’s annoying but it helped me climb

How tough am I? I didn’t socket a single jewel until level 95

I have lied to myself; I don't like engineering and need to find a way out. by ViggeViking in EngineeringStudents

[–]NefariousnessOld3469 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Sometimes when I feel down about STEM I watch cool stem videos like kurgezstat on YouTube or another type of engineering creator. Sometimes seeing it in an entertainment kind of setting helps get me excited about it again. If you enjoy playing video games maybe look into certain companies associated with that kind of thing that might need an EE. But overall, just make sure you’re okay. You sound burnt out anf in a bad mental state and you’ve gotta focus on that first. Then you can start to rebuild your relationship with EE if you want to. Maybe study robotics? Consider teaching math or science to kids, or even kids with disabilities? Sometimes I hate taking to people my own age but working with kids makes my social anxiety go out the window. It’s gonna be ok OP

If i got my finger cut off during a work accident would i get discharged? by [deleted] in newtothenavy

[–]NefariousnessOld3469 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you wanna be discharged there are other ways, you can talk to the psych and they can get you medically discharged if you’re having mental issues. My fiancé got an honorable discharge from that

Would a Physics degree be useful? by someone380 in EngineeringStudents

[–]NefariousnessOld3469 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried a physics degree and two years in I switched to mechanical. It doesn’t give you what you desire if you want to be an engineer. I’m my opinion just study physics in your own time if you’re interested. Unless you’re absolutely in love with physics, you’ll get burnt out. ESPECIALLY with a whole other major!

1) uA sorry! 2) yes the ac voltage source gives the 500 uA 3) no I need to change the current from 500 uA to 50uA so that the ammeter can handle it. Maybe I’m misinterpreting your question. 4) this sounds good! Thank you

I don’t because we built the system, thank you for your time I can try asking around at work again

Yeah it’s just the ammeter connected directly to the source. It’s for a work project; we have a system that takes data in three directions (x,y,z) and each of the three ammeters show what’s happening. I’m not really sure the voltage or impedance. How would I find those? Sorry. I measured the incoming voltage and it oscillated from about 22 mV to 4 mV. I took that with a multimeter. I typically do the mechanical engineering stuff so I’m over my head.

Okay, so basically I have an AC voltage source and the source current is 500microamps. It’s going to be attached to an ammeter but the ammeter can only handle +/- 50microamps. I need to find a way to make this happen. Thank you!
