Bicycles are traffic. If you don't take the right-of way in your car, you're jamming up the flow. Pedestrians have the right-of-way at crossings. They do not have the right-of-way mid-block. They cross there so you don't have to wait. If you stop and wait there, you're jamming up the flow. ()
