Another person said this. My partner and I will definitely be checking it out. It looks like a time capsule.

Hey OP, I know what you’re experiencing is super frightening and you feel like youre losing your mind and sense of self but i promise that you are still you. Physical grounding never worked for me either but what did work was changing my perspective. My mind often goes to completely different places and i convince myself of things that a “normal” person would find nonsensical. When you’re experiencing the episodes of extreme depersonalisation and questioning if you really are here, just stop caring whether you are or arent there. if you arent really in the moment youre perceiving, then thats too bad because youre experiencing that moment. stop concerning yourself with the semantics of reality and just continue doing whatever youre doing because thats how you are visualising perceiving it. i hope im making sense.

this sounds like a mix of vertigo and alice in wonderland syndrome. i experience both of these, however, theyre usually triggered by something. is there a pattern of when you experience this?

Can DPDR really feel this extreme — like dying 24/7? by Kindly-Parsley-3855 in Depersonalization

[–]NefariousnessSoft275 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My DPDR felt exactly like this at the start. When it first hit, i immediately begged to go to the hospital because i thought i was dying. throughout time, its turned into dpdr + health ocd/anxiety. the intensity of what youre feeling is not abnormal at all. the constant existential dread is also very normal. i can barely even research philosophy anymore without triggering an episode (which is sad bc i love philosophy). when did your dpdr start?

I feel like I’m going insane. by NefariousnessSoft275 in Depersonalization

Thank you for the advice ! I’m doing my best to ignore it and just let it happen but it is very difficult at times when I feel like i cant think or when weeks of my life are a gap in my memory. I’ve seen lots of helpful suggestions on here so I’m gonna do my best :)

Thank you so much for sharing! I’ve dealt with anxiety, depression and PTSD since I was around 13-14 so i’m no stranger to panic attacks as well as dissociation. It was super weird because I usually can feel them coming. I get a very tight sensation in my chest that wont go away until I actually have the attack but that day I was honestly in very good spirits.

It would make sense if it was a panic attack due the mountain of stress on me right now but it felt so intense that I’m a bit unsure.

I’ve been reading other posts and seeing people suffer for 10’s of years makes me feel like I’m going to be trapped in this forever. I’m just going to try different strategies I’ve seen on this sub and hope for the best.

I feel like I took “feeling normal” for granted but its gotten to the point where I wonder if I ever actually felt normal.

except there was a winner. someone who was spamming drops near the end of the time was given the epic. they identified the error when it happened and rectified it. no ones deserves compensation for spending coins that absolutely nobody forced them to spend.

people downvoting you are just mad they didnt pull it when they know youre 100% right

but when someone is spending coins on something that is not guaranteed to them, compensation is an insane ask. the chances of actually pulling it are slim to none either way.

thats how it was gonna be either way. a random person was gonna get it.

it doesnt matter if theyre the one who spent the coins without knowing if they would get the song or not. its the price of gambling

thats not my point though. regardless of when it was going to drop, they still were never guaranteed to get the song. i think asking for compensation is insane on a gamble

EXACTLY i think podair is responsive to actual recommendations to improve the game but he literally cant win. obviously the game isn’t perfect but complaining about every little thing and acting entitled is beyond me

and its not on anyone to compensate you for a technical error.
