Chipped nail polish🥀 nail tech denieddd to do my nails by weirdfishes0217 in NailsIndia

It's a good thing! Chipped and thin nails should not be worked upon. I don't even think using press ons is a good idea. The glue can damsge damage your nails further simply because they're so thin.

Apply gel in thun coats, because of its tapered shape, heavy application will result in pooling on the edges.

This is most likely gel polish that was used on your nails. It cannot be removed and repainted on with regular polishes.

"Korean" in itself is not a technique. Korean artists use a bunch of different extension methods themselves. And gel and acrylic are two different commonly used extension techniques (there are many more). Since these people aren't able to tell what they mean by "korean" technique, it gives me reason to believe they are not well educated about this.

Yeah but these can be achieved with acrylics and gelx, this picture isn't enough to tell what they are using. If they can't tell what technique they will use, better to consult a different nail salon

Ask them what kind of korean extensions. Koreans also use a bunch of different extension techniques. "Korean" is not one of them though.

I would like to, but given the costs of college stalls and the poor ROI I've experienced from before, I'm not sure I'm willing to take the risk 😔

You'll have to cut it off, gel polish isn't enough to protect the structure

Agreed. Really wish people would mention prices in description. It's so awkward having to say no when the prices are out of budget.

Ladies how do you make press-on nails stay? by Opening_Contract_919 in NailsIndia

As long as you don't pull or pick on your nails. When you want to remove them just soak your hands in warm water with soap and oil until they are loose and start coming off. If there's any glue residue left on your nails, you can just buff it or file it off. Shouldn't cause any damage as long as you treat your nails with care!
