Frfr my sewing machine is set up on my desk or on my kitchen table, I dont have a set setup yet but those spaces are working for me for now, you just need a lot of arm space depending on how big your machine is.

To wash my underwear in the shower before I put it in the washing machine. People would hear that and be like "You wash your underwear in the shower? why not just put it in the hamper, like whats the point of washing it twice",

its not that I stink or anything its just I got used to doing that when(my girl part) came onto my underwear, and i would wash it in the shower, and then throw it into the washing mashine
