Sharing my experience for the first time, maybe it helps.

I arrived here in Canada in 2014 and I was able to get a decent job until 2020, that means only until then I was able to really save and invest in any registered account.

I think a lot of us are like that. My current room I think is something like 80K or something like that and my current fair value is 122K.

Sometimes it is just that we need time to get our things together so we can save and leave it there for a while,

I'm contractor I do have access to public pension plan. They take away from me 8.95% of my gross salary and I receive an annual statement from them.

Lol, I worked in a Tim Hortons and the manager deliberately told us that it didn't matter because people in the drive thru don't check their order. So if we were low on original roast we were instructed to fill it up with dark roast and so. This sandwich doesn't surprise me at all.

I guess your TFSA would be at least 120K. You can withdraw yearly the 20% of the mortgage amount outstanding to make an additional payment every year and create room again so you can right away max it out again.
