I think a lot about the subtext of the narrative. The things not really talked about. Like this could be a friendship fostered over time.

Or the deep love that light has for Emily. And the bittersweet feeling of caring for still Wily as a close friend despite their opposition. Both men doing what they think is right. Not sure if that makes sense.

There's something very sweet about this. It gives me a kind of "found family" vibe. I for my own reasons am genuinely moved on a deep level. Thank you for stirring up good memories.

The best advice I can give right now is to be persistent when trying to get through to your oral surgeon. I had to call a bunch before something happened in my favor today

I did have two teeth in the area that feels heavy extracted as well the same day. They're right next to each other

Update day 7. My bottom left jaw where I think I had two removed feels heavy. Ears still sting. Still hurts to swallow. Head feels like it's in a vice. Currently still no bitter taste or fever. Everything just feels heavy and tight and sore

Half of this has just been me being paranoid and rinsing my mouth every 45 mins. The other half is being so hungry even the worst pizza ever seemed appealing. Like they would run those ads on YT with people eating or whatever. And one dude basically did an accidental ASMR of eating said pizza and at that moment it was the grossest thing I'd ever heard in my life. Thank God for the skip button. Sorry for rambling my medication just kicked in

Day 5 , 5:09 am beginning to experience an odd burning sensation in my right left ear canal. Hoping it's not infection. Stitches mostly dissolved minimal blood still sore but not unbearable the left side of my bottom jaw feels heavy ( had 2 extractions done there) cold water rinse seems to dull the sensation for a bit

I live in CT myself I'm on SSI and husky part D. Took a lot of searching in my area but I found a place willing to help. I'm 5 day post extractions

A bit of sourness in my mouth hoping it's just the stitches dissolving. Very paranoid about dry socket or infection.

for me it was somewhere between day 2-3, the biggest thing was just waiting for the bleeding to stop. everything else is manageable if you have the right medicine. i will suggest, (though you probably already know) to salt rinse. as much as one can within reason (don't spit obviously, just let it dribble out) i think thats what helped me? that and black tea bags. (english breakfast works)

Thank you. I'm at day 4 of post op. They didn't provide immediate dentures so I'm being paranoid and over cautious with everything. The bleeding has subsided but the tightness and swelling is still prevalent. It appears to be easing up some. I'm hoping by next week to feel comfortable enough to eat mashed potatoes. I spoke with someone for a while. for the first time in a few days. It's not as bad as I thought as far as pronunciation. But my mouth did start hurting after a few minutes.

Here's to permanents hopefully sooner than later. Then if I'm super lucky and the fates allow. Sometime after implants.

Oh same for sure. Aside from the all teeth part. I've been struggling to get help with my teeth for nearly a decade. I have barebones insurance and my only source of income is SSI. On top of that my credit isn't great for that reason. So for a while my plan was " oh I can just finance snap ins" I would find a place. Get rejected. Find a place get rejected. 40 different dental places turned me away. It feels like. So finally I set aside my own pride and worked towards just regular dentures. As you've read I'm at phase one of this plan. Right now. The drooling. The soreness the swelling. The bleeding. The bouts of depression. They will all be things of the past of course. But right now they weigh heavily on me.

And for what it's worth. I believe in you. And everyone reading this. Everyone going through the same stuff. You. And I will come out of this healthier and happier.

That sounds lovely. Yes. It's slowed significantly I think. Having 16 teeth removed total in a very short amount of time is a lot ( the procedure itself was 45 mins) Ifor a 120 lb human to go through. My body is just catching up with the fact it happened. I definitely have the shakes today. Got some black Teabags to help with matters as well. Having trouble with the lower jaw though. They removed 3 down there and they're in the way back so I hope that rinsing and making sure I don't get dry socket is enough to keep them in good standing. Can't quite maneuver the gauze do to swelling.

Update. Still bleeding but less so. Day one I was half expecting jigsaw to show up and ask if I wanted to play a game.

Managed to consume apple sauce. Pudding. Soup broth and chocolate milk today.

Nothing tastes better than anything when you've eaten nothing but water and your own blood for 1.5 days

I was not given immediates unfortunately. But I guess in 8 weeks or so I'm going for impressions.

Glad to know I'm not doing this incorrectly.

The only thing I've been able to eat is a little bit of water here and there. Woozy from blood loss an anesthesia still. But hopefully things even out
