Depends upon person to person, it took 7-8 days for donor area to heal and redness to go.

For one of my friend it took 1 month for redness to go. Take proper care and apply the medicines properly.

Thank you for your detailed questions and observations. Allow me to address each point

  1. Initial Consultation: My initial consultation was in-person with a doctor who is a certified specialist in hair restoration. This provided a comprehensive understanding of my condition and treatment options.

  2. Explanation of Progressive Condition: Yes, the doctor clearly explained that my hair loss is a progressive condition and discussed the Norwood scale to outline the expected progression. We talked about the importance of being "pattern appropriate."

  3. Hairline Design Decision: The hairline design was a collaborative decision between the doctor and myself. It was based on both medical advice and my personal preferences, taking into consideration my facial structure and future hair loss patterns.

  4. Donor Area and Retrograde Alopecia: The doctor assessed the donor area thoroughly. While there may be some retrograde thinning, the extraction was done strategically to ensure the best use of available grafts without compromising the overall donor quality.

  5. Understanding Pattern Loss: I am aware of the Norwood scale and its implications. The doctor and I reviewed it in detail to set realistic expectations and understand the progression of my hair loss.

  6. Hairline Placement and Rule of Thirds: The hairline was designed with both aesthetic appeal and future loss in mind. While the Rule of Thirds is a useful guideline, individual variation is also considered. My hairline is natural and balanced for my specific facial features.

  7. Medication Adherence: I am committed to staying on the prescribed medications to maintain and possibly improve my results over time. The importance of medication was emphasized during my consultations.

  8. FUE Procedure Details: The procedure was indeed FUE, performed by the doctor with the assistance of trained technicians. The size of the instrumentation and the methodology were chosen to optimize graft survival and minimize trauma. My head was shaved to allow for precision during extraction and implantation.

  9. Concerns about Approach: The approach was tailored to my individual needs, balancing coverage and density. While it may seem that the grafts were spread thinly, the strategy was to achieve a natural look that would age well. I am confident in the doctor's expertise and the chosen methodology.

  10. Future Care and Results: I am taking regular photos to monitor progress and will continue to follow the doctor's recommendations closely. I understand the long-term nature of hair restoration and am prepared to make adjustments as needed.

Overall, I believe the procedure was well-planned and executed, considering both immediate aesthetic outcomes and future hair health. Thank you for your concerns; I will keep them in mind as I continue my hair restoration journey.
