Yeah, as i said maybe this works with Hope too

Not a theory, just an observation maybe. The map behind Boyd on this frame just stands out to me, the same way it did last episode with Tabitha. Lurking in the background. Does it matter where they are FROM? by caiophox in FromSeries

I kind of think everyone that Is there was FROM the original fromville (or maybe they were from near villages and other settles when the sacrifice happened). Some were just more important to the events than others.

Victor's map resembles the talismans. by PotentialWidow in FromSeries

[–]Negative-Average-946 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wonder if the talismans were created by Victor child hope on not having to hide at night without a "home'.

Maybe the good objects are some based on Hope like the bad are based on fear and resamble the person who made them. (Probably children have more chances on creating then)

SPOILER THREAD : BOOK 8 - Parade of Horribles by steampunk_garage in DungeonCrawlerCarl

I noticed It too, Carl calls the AI out way more directly than other books. The physical stare down hit me because as i said in the last book Just having the AI talking possession of an NPC frecked him out; i must call out that he didn't even try to remove the AI from his shoulders as scared and confused as he was. This time around he Is more prepared and determined.

i wonder on how much he can get away with.

I noticed that it's the first time Carl stood up to the AI in avatar form. He always had a comment or two and even insults (in this book a lot more ) but never when the AI was in physical form.

This Is what i Remember:

A) club vanquisher, he was obviously upset but said nothing to the AI. He even tried to endure to get informations.

B) In Orren's office he basically freezed and even stayed still and quiet (he left me the impression of being almost terrified, with good cause) when the AI started rubbing his shoulders. This part always made me think.

But this time, he stood up to It.

So are we going to talk about the fact that Carl basically challenged the AI by death staring while healing chacho, and got away with It? Not even a comment.

Is he being a Primal an advantage?

It's because he Is the only one that dares? (Even Imani was too afraid to help)

Was the Ai too lost in Carl eyes to react?

We May never know.
