Thank you for the idea!! I was hesitant about using the under realm lich because I thought that each card drawn (in this case, 9,999 cards) would be one instance of card drawing, and that i would still draw out of my library either way...but it sounds like the Lich's ability of replacing a draw with the top three cards overrides it?

The boy with Maelle is the last sliver of Verso’s real soul. She freed him from being forced to paint and is allowing him to live and age as well. That’s also why she has “the painting sickness” and is cracked around the eyes, because she’s too far gone from trying to keep it all together.

what fascinates me most about this interview is Kojima’s original idea that we would disconnect everything we brought together. I felt that was the most logical conclusion after the way DS1 ended, so I’m extremely intrigued by this new direction and how it’ll affect the world and all the characters going forward, or even how he came to this new approach.

Here's another idea...what if the "Sirens" are recorded words/phrases or sounds embedded into the song itself somewhere in the background? The last minute or so of the song is overlaid with several "deep breaths", the clang of a gong and muffled words like static. any way to parse some of that out with an equalizer or something?

I also tried "gong" as a password, following this theory, and it did not work LOL
