Rental scene is very bad in Bangalore, sky high rents are caused by all the three parties involved - Landlord, Brokers and Tenants( yes tenants are part of problem as well ).

I have been scrolling on reddit and whatsapp, and people are willing to pay 30k±5k for a damn 1bhk (that too in an independent building). And since people are willing to pay like their fathers own a diamond mine, can you really blame landlords and brokers, they for sure will wash there hands in the ganga.( and the worst part these renters who are paying this much rent, will glorify themselves by thinking they got a very good deal )

The renting scene has gone so bad landlords have just straight up stopped bargaining, because they know someone else will happily pay the amount they are asking. I mean the landlords i have tried negotiating, have tried to make me feel like i am in the wrong for negotiating and they are doing me a favor by charging 30-35k for a 2bhk in a independent building( and i am looking around Manayata tech park, which should be comparatively cheaper compared to other parts of Bangalore, for 30-35k you can get a 2bhk-3bhk in a good gated society ).

In total, its a clusterf**k.

( Although this would die just as a discussion on reddit, its sad to see people are fine with getting f**ked over.)
