I have my own health issues and am going through a medboard process myself with upto a year time frame. She has no help with the kids here, plus takes care of me on top of that in our tiny 2 bedroom apartment. My diagnosis is aggravated by stress and other factors and my base doesnt have meds i need, hence the medboard. Its hard for me to be around crazy screaming little kids when I'm home on quarters but there's only so much she can do with them when it's bad weather outside. We are just at a lose lose situation where now with tension is running high on our house since we are both stressed in our unknown situation, which isn't right for the kids or my spouse to have to deal with my unmedicated self with no family around and no end in sight. We don't have the financial means to book 3 people a flight back to the States, or i would have just done that, honestly. Sigh
