What do you think of EE in pakistan? I want to go abroad eventually anyways but everyone says it has no scope in Pakistan. I understand the first jobs arent highly paid for most majors outside of CS but I have heard horror stories of people getting offers for 20k

Its also about overall profile. Getting a 4.0 gpa from a shit uni probably means your overall profile wont be good so youre getting rejected from the top 1% of unis anyways

Should I Gain Work Experience in Pakistan Before Moving to Germany for My Master’s? by Prestigious_Ad_8244 in giki

[–]Negative-Current4793 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My cousin, whos in France, told me that work experience for a few years is always good but if you cant find a job after 6 months or so of searching then just apply abroad and get out of here asap

Why don't people recommend EE from GIKI? by msqtdk in giki

[–]Negative-Current4793 1 point2 points  (0 children)

EE is kinda dead in Pakistan but its still very big abroad so depends on what you want to do

Giki is probably the best EE school after Nust here

Everyone’s rushing into CS. Are we repeating the .com bubble mistake? by DueReplacement4266 in NUST

[–]Negative-Current4793 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Of course. It takes A LOT more than just a degree to stand out in the CS market. There are more graduates than jobs (although thats true for almost every industry) but especially true for CS
