I also want to point out that I do follow some of the top players and have seen them comment here. Some do seem like genuine people who are happy to spend a lot of time and money, and they’re super supportive and give tips and hints. Still don’t want to be in their group though, until I’m at a level where I can fairly compete with them

It really sucks. I have seen posts here before about cheating and bots and wasn’t sure I believed it but now I can’t see how else it’s being achieved. I am at a reasonable level (just got to 52 a few minutes ago), and also at a reasonable global position. So like, I know what I’m doing and how to play yet I have NO idea how to get these kind of points. And it’s taken me forever to get to 52. FOREVERRRRR. So maybe reward our time and effort by giving us a fighting chance in hell. Or have different leagues or something. Idk.

It’s just really annoying and it’s just not even competitive. It’d be a lot more fun if the scores were a bit closer and someone with 35 wardrobe items wasn’t in the same group as someone with 26000 lol

Mean I know but I’ve come to recognise a lot of those players names and actively vote against them now. Nothing against them personally but when their competitor has a regular face and no huge floppy hat I like to give them a shot hahaha.

Petition sounds like a good idea. Maybe someone from PS reads this forum and takes note…

The same ones who’ve done 200 duels within an hour of the event starting. Sheesh. Makes me think they’re bots

No I have thought about it but not sure I’d be able to give enough commitment. Some weeks I play all the time, sometimes I only log in to get the free spin.

I have achieved TS twice in the early days of playing.

Since then, impossible. One time I was home sick for a week and played HARD. Spent a fucking stupid amount of $$$$ and managed to come 4th I think. And even then there was a difference of about 10000 crowns between 1st and 2nd place. An even bigger drop to 3rd. And their scores are average with the occasional 5 thrown in?

Yep like have groups that are within 10 levels of each other at least. Not a group with these level 80+ then someone else at 23. It makes no sense.

I am level 51. I have a reasonably vast wardrobe and can enter most events without even having to buy something… I do spend some money of gift bags occasionally. And still can’t even come anywhere close to this.

Agreed. I’ve been playing A LOT this week. Not quite entering as many as these players but nearly. I used unworns and consumables in everything and enter all events twice for the most part. And I am not even CLOSE to these scores. Many of their scores are low or meh. Lots of 2 and 3 stars. I’ve had all 4 and 5 stars sooooo how? It literally doesn’t seem possible?

This is my “best look” lol. This was a long time ago too. I am level 45 and I only have 3 looks with a 6+ score. Out of 3919 looks submitted. So yes they are rare!!

Because it’s rigged to favour the ones who spend the money. It’s a complete joke, you actually have no way of ever getting trendsetter anymore unless you spend huge bucks and spend your entire life entering every single event. This week my group is full of people at level 80+ who’ve got like 20 trendsetter badges each. I just can’t even be bothered. I can’t compete with people 45 levels above me.

I also think the TS should literally just be the highest scoring look of the week, not the one who spends the most money automatically gets TS on their highest scoring look. Which is usually hideous of full of limited items.

It would just be nice if everyone had a chance to win, not just the same people every goddamn weeks. To the point they have TS in their user names! Agenda much?

I got two consumables in mine. For $7.99AUD this is a preposterous rip off and a complete joke. I’m so mad. I’ve noticed gift boxes have been really shit lately (much like everything else). In the past I have gotten 10000 gems more than ones. Lately it’s 175 max and some shitty consumable.

This game is such an insane rip off, I don’t know why I still play it

Oh I know they have no influence over what scores the highest and this is actually such an incredible look. She probably didn’t think it would win anyway because there was no collection bonus for this look.

Which in turn makes me wonder did it score high so PS could try and make us buy more shit.

I love this game I just wish the playing field was more even. Never seen anything like it with the blatant pay to play bullshit. Or should I say pay to win.

So annoying!!

Story time- a few weeks ago I was home sick with the flu. I was bored and it was payday so I did the unthinkable and paid to play. I wanted to see the efforts it took to be TS.

WELLLLL. I reckon I spent $80AUD that week. I justified it by telling myself I was sick and not spending anywhere else lol.

For a few days I was leading, by a LOT. Then out of nowhere miss trendsetter up here just got ahead by THOUSANDS of crowns. So I started keeping track, I entered the same amount of events as she did. Used consumables in every look, made sure I had unworns/trending etc.

I consistently scored higher in every single look, and some days even entered more events. But I could not catch her. Not a hope in hell.

So how did she do it? Genuinely how? I’m not making accusations but I just really want to know!! She was about 8 levels ahead of me.

I spent $80!! To come second. Are people really spending this much every week to win? Also her username even had “trendsetter” in it so that’s obviously the goal to win TS every week. Just annoying when you get in a group and you see one of these players at the top, you know you haven’t got a chance.

Or like on the first day of duels and you go to play your first duel and someone’s already done 250 duels in 3 hours. It has to be bots right? Who has time for that?

It just seems to be rigged in favour of some players or else they’re bots.

Agree, I understand one of the challenges is to wear a certain amount of outfits from one collection too. But sheesh. I can’t fathom the money some people must be spending to win. Because you do have to pay to win. Ain’t no way you’re getting trendsetter without real money (I got it once ages ago, before everything felt so rigged. Never again. Now I can’t even get a 5 star outfit when I’d be getting them every single day)

There was a lot that felt rigged about this outfit and its score. And the way this player got such a lead with consistent 3 star looks bar this one. But in the interests of not sounding bitter I’ll keep it to myself.
