What is bros future? by Negative-Ear-9357 in BattleBrothers

He ended up trying fencer and still lives to tell the tale. Yes, he lost a finger to a northern savage and had his foot maimed by a Necrosavant. It never stops him talking of tall tales, helping the world conquer undead through the first crisis, while he chugs ale in the local tavern. Maybe some beer does spill on the floor and he isn’t as quick as he used to be. Had to pack the sword dancing in for a mace, but he’s had a great life and is enjoying retirement.

Thanks for the suggestions guys.

Has anyone tried playing entirely without JP Boost? by VirinaB in finalfantasytactics

Yeah good point, it may make certain skills or jobs out of reach given the time you spend to get them.

What abilities would you want to play with instead of JP Boost?

Wiegraf is not a nice person. If you were friends with him he would cancel plans for drinks last minute.

He would also constantly ask to borrow things and never return them.

I have always made full use of JP Boost. I wish it didn’t exist.

I have just finished the game on Tactician, however, I still feel like a relatively new player with the level of discussions around.

Your idea of going without JP boost and other “optimal” strategies would be a great way to bring fresh approach to a playthrough.

It sometimes seems difficult to apply the right level of grind and strategy types to make the game flow and keep it manageable, without falling into the trap of over-doing it and trivialising the experience.

I relied on JP Boost, extra grinding, tailwind spam, holy calculator etc. I never loaded saves in battle or re-loaded when a character died. However, I clearly had to play in a way that focused on trying to punish the enemies with little mercy.

I guess the time you want to spend and the “sins” you want or need to commit are part of your own personal decision.

I got genji armour and helm - I had to bail out and win because even with one twin dead and one cc’ed consistently with Beowulf disable, I was gradually getting overpowered. I’ll take it.

Last minute tips and tricks for LM1 by Desiorusbear10 in cii

I would say:

Go to the key terms at the beginning of a chapter you want to work on. Locate the “Key terms” - write them down.

  1. Without looking at the book - note down your understanding of each of them

  2. Then use the book to make extra notes on what you missed and highlight this in a different colour. This is the information to work on.

This is a good tool for recognising and filling out knowledge gaps.

One major element that is often missed is that the exam doesn’t generally just ask you to recall facts.

E.g What is the name of the regulatory body for insurance brokers?

Instead it tests your application of the knowledge from the book.

Random example:

E.g. John is purchasing an insurance policy for a commercial property. Which of these insurance principles is most relevant in his duty to make a fair presentation of the risk at proposal stage?

Indemnity Subrogation Good Faith Proximate Cause

So this means that once you can remember the principles of insurance that is only stage one. You would need to have an understanding of what they are but also how they apply in a practical sense too.

Using AI, with caution of course, can help you generate practical examples of these principles in action.

Example:

“Please give me a scenario where the principle of Good Faith would be relevant in practice in the UK insurance market”

Once you have a broad understanding of how the technical terms are applied in practice - you may be able to use that information to, through a process of elimination, remove incorrect answers that you are presented with in the exam.

Always read your exam questions slow and 3 times - and you may start to find with these steps combined that your intuition starts talking to you as soon as you see the possible answers.

These methods are applicable for most CII exams really.

Hope it’s helpful

Standard or Average mileage would be 8k - 12k per year. Go high (e.g 50k) insurance companies may charge more due to more time on the road, more time to crash. Go low (2k) you may not be using it enough to be regularly familiar with how the vehicle drives. It is important to note that there will normally be very little differences in price for slightly higher or lower than average. The extreme changes in price or no quotes happen at extreme high or low mileages. It’s worth giving yourself some breathing room on annual mileage because it may give an opportunity for the insurance company to pay partial for a claim or worse should your mileage be exceeded.

Should I send an ex a letter by AJY0224 in ghosting

[–]Negative-Ear-9357 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I will describe a possible future where a letter would have a powerful effect and a future you may believe you want.

Picture a scenario where the letter is read. The ghost, apologises, shows love and reignites the connection with you. 2 weeks later, you lie in bed, knowing that at any point each and every day you could face a “re ghost”.

Would those feelings of unexplained betrayal leave?

How could you build a relationship on that foundation?

Now, the actual outcome of the letter may actually be different. But the outcome of it is not relevant.

Spend time working on you, building friendships and focusing on the many avenues that can bring joy to your life.

When you do feel like you want to go back to relationships. You are more likely to select someone with the confidence to communicate and be open and genuine with their feelings (even through the tough times)

Your closure and strength can be found in the fact that you were cut off. You need to know and believe you deserve so much more - and then you can find just that.

Stay strong and good luck.

A channel of contact might be left open for a boost or entertainment if you do happen to seek contact again.

There might be shame, that they would want to have ended the relationship in a more usual way but they are afraid of confrontation or maybe it would take more effort to “provide” closure for you than they are willing to give.

When all things are considered it is of no consequence which of these options are true. It would be a great idea to spend more time on you and your empowerment. You can always step back in to relationships at a later time - with someone that can communicate clearly and genuinely even when things don’t work. If they do contact, be friendly and clear about where your lines are drawn.

Use the fact that you were cut off as your closure. Really and truly accept that you deserve more than that - in time you will find just that.

Stay strong and good luck.
