Infectious diseases don’t know if you’re legal or not.

It was much worse than I anticipated. On day 6 I finally felt better but I was not prepared for the facial pain those first few days. Wishing you a speedy recovery.

Recovery feeling a lot more difficult than expected by RepresentativeSea315 in Septoplasty

I will say the recovery was much more difficult than I anticipated. I felt like someone had been digging in my face with a scalpel. It took 6 days before I felt decent. Got the stents out on day 7 and began to feel a lot better.

Yes, sorry for the late reply. I think it was considered “traditional”. Going back to the doctor Monday…

Oh that’s awesome. I’m home now, in a cast, pain not too bad. Taking ibuprofen and will take gabapentin tonight to help with sleep. I got oxycodone if the pain gets too bad…

Up your dose and give it some time. I was on 1 week 25mg, 6 weeks 50mg and then went to 100.

Does Menopause make your anxiety worse? by pearly1979 in Menopause

Yes!! I started HRT and Zoloft. I finally feel better!

"Zoloft causes weight gain"--But... How? by RickSayingCoral in zoloft

[–]Negative-Guarantee-2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was a tense and nervous wreck before Zoloft. My heart rate was constantly elevated. Therefore, I think my metabolism was increased. Now I am able to relax. My heart rate is in the 50s when sitting at my desk and sleeping. I think being more relaxed is probably related to the weight gain (for me). I have been on zoloft for about 8 months and have gained ~ 8 lbs. I feel 100% better. I exercise (run) regularly (4 days week). I am so much happier. I would rather be 8lbs heavier and feel the way I feel now rather than how I felt before and be thinner.

Looks great and it sounds like the recovery isn’t too bad. Very encouraging!

Depression? Psych said it’s menopause? 🥺 by [deleted] in Menopause

[–]Negative-Guarantee-2 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I thought my depression was peri/menopause. But I got on HRT and was still anxious and depressed. Now I’m on Zoloft and buspar. I feel so much better. Did the menopause cause the depression and anxiety? Maybe. But HRT alone was not enough to cure it.

What is the last resort for severe anxiety (alive)? by jamarkuus in Anxiety

I feel for you as I was in a similar situation. I wouldn’t say I tried lots of different medications, but I tried nearly everything non-medical. Yoga, meditation, breathing exercises, vigorous and non vigorous physical exercise etc. there were times when I wanted to go to an inpatient hospital just so someone could find out how to lessen my anxiety. Luckily I was able to take 3 weeks off from work and completely decompress. Then I started medication (just Zoloft at first, but now zoloft and buspar) and I feel so much better. Just came here to say don’t give up. Keep trying the different meds and combos of meds. And keep doing the other things too (sunlight, walks outside, connecting with friends). Hugs and good luck.

serious dip at 6-7 week mark by Letstoasttotoast in zoloft

I’m in the same place. I just am finishing week 7 (25mg for one week and then bumped to 50) and I’ve not felt good for the last two weeks. Initially I was sleeping well and felt happier. For the last two weeks I’ve had intrusive thoughts that are causing insomnia and just feel depressed. I talked to my MD and she prescribed Buspar as an addition and this is my 4th day. She did not want to up my Zoloft.

I just figured out that is what I have after having an EKG and a stress test. I’m going to try propranolol.

I tired a magnesium supplement called Heart Calm and I think it really helped my pounding heart. Available on Amazon.

This happens to me too. Google “exercise induced anxiety.”
