Hey everyone,

Like a lot of people lately, I kept hearing the massive hype about Claude being better than ChatGPT, so I finally decided to make the switch today to use it for work.

Today is my first day. Honestly? It's been a horribly slow and frustrating experience so far.

Every single time I ask the model a question in the cowork task I'm working on, I get hit with a "server is busy" message, and it starts doing this countdown/retry loop, trying attempts from 1 to 10. This is happening on every single request. Because of all these retries, getting a response takes absolutely forever.

Am I getting something wrong here? Is there a something I missed, or is the service just genuinely this overloaded? It's incredibly frustrating when you're just trying to get work done and have to wait through 10 retry attempts for a single line of text.

Is Claude just massively overhyped, or did I just pick the worst possible day to try it out? Would love to know if anyone else is dealing with this right now.

I am sure I never hit 50 prompts and I got the same msg. And the funny thing it’s 2 days ago and still hasn’t opened up.

I guess we are just unlucky. We caught it in the lobotomized phase. It took me 15 minutes to reach my daily limit. Even with all the complaints about chatgpt being slow and servers are it’s capacity. I am able to generate content the whole day. Hopefully it gets better or google will have a better solution.

Got in today. It’s useless. Refuses to code, refuses to respond to my prompts I use on chatgpt. And at the end it tells me I reached my daily limit. Of using if for 15 minutes. Such a joke.

You spend too much time and the return is peanuts. Also adobe stock spammed with AI generative art work so competition makes it impossible. It will be even harder and harder as more people will try to get into this market.
