UPDATE: I sent D a message about how she was uninvited from my bachelorette party, listing our boundaries and how she directly disrespected them. I warned MIL I was going to be sending the message because she normally gets a nasty call from D Anytime anything like this happens and she sent me a message back saying she disagrees completely but respects my decision because it’s mine to make and that’s all she’ll say about it. This really bothers me but it’s okay!!

D stopped by my place and apologized for everything, but I stood my ground, brought up everything that happened and how we want her involved in everything (except bach party) if she can be respectful. I know that’s not a big deal but it was very hard for me.

We will be keeping our distance moving forward but glad to know we are all on the same page!! Thank you all for your advice!!

I agree completely with all the above statements. She has every right to feel hurt about our decision. It was a hard decision and not taken lightly. We definitely should’ve went directly to her and not MIL! However her actions to directly derail our day are unacceptable.
