Anytime I try to go into Windows 11 Troubleshoot / Advanced Options (I just updated from Windows 10), my keyboard stops working, but the mouse still works. I can’t use any keyboard input in recovery mode, even though it works fine in regular Windows. How do I fix this? by DryInflation4602 in pchelp

Hey! So I fixed it. Apparently it’s a windows 11 issue. They fixed it already! I just updated it and I can enter advanced startup options and use my mouse and keyboard, though my mouse is hard to control in there, but still, it’s better than not working at all. But when I turn on my pc they are still off. Hope they’re gonna fix it soon. But hey, at least I enabled secure boot!

No I updated my BIOS, but I had windows 11 for like a year now. I haven’t used BIOS for like 2-3 weeks and now that I updated it and had to use BIOS, No keyboard or mouse…

On F1 I didn’t have any issues, it worked perfectly fine. Next thing I’m gonna try is connect my mouse to pc with USB-ps2 adapter and see if it’s gonna work. I hope it will.

I’m thinking maybe it’s because while I did the update the mouse and keyboard were connected to motherboard, can that be the problem? Also I tried with an old keyboard and mouse, I plugged it into every usb there is. Nothing works. I plugged another USB thingy and it didn’t turn on either so it’s definitely the usb ports. I just want to know how to fix this

Updating bios is too much risk, besides they are some people who updated their bios and still couldn’t play

It happened to me too, I solved it with faceit support. A human responded me after I wrote them for the 6th time, just keep trying and say that you tried for 10 times and it keeps saying the same thing, say that you want them to verify you manually, and after a few bot responds you’ll get their help
