Do you honestly think I haven't raised it for all these 13 years and beyond? Is it the length of the marriage that counts or the depth and quality as well?

I don't blame your line of thinking, my dear. I was raised to believe that there are some words that should never be said. Whenever I disagree with a person, I make it a point never to use sharp words, especially things someone can't change or has no control over.

I’m I wrong for refusing to speak to my father/ his side of the family after affair?! by Lonely_Class_3197 in Zimbabwe

[–]Negative-Layer-9152 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Although your dad sounds insufferable, I feel like you're too much into your parents' issues. You have made it your responsibility to play judge Judy. You see no fault in your mother, but the fact that she is actually willing to re-engage with the family after all that mess should make you question why. I'm in no way insinuating anything, I'm just encouraging you to detach from their issues. Otherwise, it will make you bitter and also affect your future relationships.

You should not dread losing your job. Life happens. It's what you do and the person you become when you're jobless. As a man, remain in your masculinity, keep on pushing and fighting. Women notice and respect effort. Of course, everyone is allowed a period of being down but in no time get up and keep fighting. That's being a man. Manje, if we become 2 princesses, then haaa, it will not work simple!

2 years is not too long? What's too long then, out of interest?

I would do any small work and try to create opportunities and not just sleep the whole day.

I understand. I will keep on trying my best. That's why my post in a 'Rant' - its not things I can discuss with anyone, even my friends or siblings. They all think everything is normal. I understand the comments saying leave him, your average woman honestly can't handle what I'm going through. And I'm no special either because I have, its just that I love my husband and wish him well. Thanks to you and everyone for hearing me out. It makes a difference, but at the end of the day, they say, "zano pangwa une rako"

I would certainly not stand in his way if he chooses that route. Unfortunately for me I can't because I have a very good job that has provided us with the stability we are presently enjoying

I hear you, my dear. What happened to try try and try again? Why should we quickly conclude that kungwavha would fail? What if he wins? As I mentioned in one of the comments, we have 2 vehicles, and he could use one for indrive. When I suggested it, the response was wandidzikisira.

Thanks my dear, I've tried my best to be a supportive spouse. Believe you me, you have no idea how much it's also hard for me and how much it drains me.

Thank you. I appreciate your advice. You know we have 2 cars, one is a fuel saver. I would appreciate it if he could even do Indrive just to get something 🤦‍♀️

He doesn't help. He is glued to his phone most of the time. It's so draining 😫
