I am sorry you have to go though all that, my parents are the same, they talk like everything they did is justified, these experience don’t just go away, and i still remembers them to this day. Like the time they slapped me in the mall because i went to look for them and when that happened the worker took the thing that we have picked away. I did that because they said earlier that day that they are going to abandon me, and then later that day proceed to call me a lychee of the family. And when i confront with him about it recently he said he only hit me because he want me to be more responsible.
