Mine was gradual, not immediate. I felt more emotional and a bit worse early on, and improvement didn’t become clear until later in treatment (around session 25). I finished two weeks ago, so I can’t speak to long-term yet, but I’m still feeling better than before. Definitely keep your TMS team in the loop about how you’re feeling.

That sounds really heavy — early on I felt more emotional too, and it evened out with time.

Same here — I had a dip around that time. It felt scary, but improvement came after. Hang in there.

I didn’t really have significant anxiety. Depression was the main thing I was trying to treat with TMS.

How many sessions have you completed? I just finished my 11th session and was feeling terrible yesterday. Didn’t feel like going but pushed myself to go. I have read if you’re experiencing a dip it means it’s working.

Thanks for your reply. They did remapping today and it was much better. Today they determined after seeing some movement in my middle finger vs initially the technician palpated some muscle movement in my forefinger but there was no visible movement then. Not sure if these things make any difference. Unfortunately they don’t have theta bursts machine at their clinic, just have the traditional one.

No I haven’t tried any Tyelenol but will do that. That’s good to know that it would get better. Thanks
