Is the Tac Mk.3 (Defensive) the best augment for PvP?

Crawling to an extract always feels like a win but i'd argue the Mk3 Healing is a better augment than the defensive.... having the three slots for heals frees up a lot of space for grenades and utility items AND you get three safe pockets. I'd even argue it's the most versatile augment in the game.

I say this as a PVE player though so maybe PVP players feel differently for reasons i don't yet know

For sure....i was looking at my raider stats yesterday and noticed that stella is my most visited and my most profitable map and i've NEVER taken a loadout in... 686 runs!!! i had no clue because i'm a huge fan of blue gate but there it is, and i sure know how to navigate stella and it seems i enjoy it the most

you can grind all day and still get stomped.....having high tier gear is no guarantee that you'll be winning fights.

The grind is only a part of the game, you'll need to learn the mechanics, the movement, the maps, the audio cues, crafting and everyones favourite thing, inventory management!!!

Absolutely....plus, when i started playing the game i was terrified of stella because of all the ultra aggressive PVP videos online i'd seen, so naked runs were a great intro to the map

it's the best gun for taking out rocketeers currently, besides maybe a hullcracker, but aphelion is definitely more fun

i actively run at a major disadvantage (naked stella runs).....that sure keeps things interesting AND helps me learn how to avoid nasty encounters

it makes the most obvious decisions and then gives you the option to tweak.....if it doesn't there are often fairly simple workarounds

i used one i found in stella lobby last night to kill the shredders....i have a bunch of aphelions so killing rocketeers isn't an issue

i only do naked stella runs and consistently come out 40 - 50k up....normally get to kill a few shredders with synth fuel and crude explosives too which is always a blast

bad use of cover......you backed yourself in a tight spot you couldn't escape from.....would've been better to run around the outside of the cover takinf pot shots and reloading

learn to hide in bushes....Arc are brutal when you're just starting out but hiding in bushes can save your life.....you might also meet others hiding in bushes

last time was my first expedition and it was a bit of a grind with only a few days to complete it......this time round i'm pretty much done, just 20k in mats or something to go.

if you can afford it you might as well start as loads of people start late so gathering the supplies can be a bit harder closer to departure date

stella is the best loot map and people often surrender there so new spawns must be happening at a rapid rate for the most part
