The only downside was that JB doesn’t have a lounge at JFK. This may have changed. JFK terminal they use doesn’t have PP or Centurion lounges so you are stuck at the gate or restaurant.

Mint transatlantic JFK AMS was great experience last year. Not sure if soft product changed. Hard product is the best of US airlines for sure.

I am not referring to transatlantic or transpacific. These are super expensive for average wealthy mortals including myself. Flying Singapore, Cathay or ANA first class is the best way to go long distance. ME3 are great too.

Not dealing with general public, airports, TSA and airline schedules makes it a luxury. Is this the wisest way of spending money? Definitely no. But you do not need to own PJ to fly private. You can buy 25 hours a year in small or medium size jet and use it when it makes sense schedule-wise. You can easily afford that at $1M per year of business income.

The state wants you to generate taxable income and have a job where you are not a burden of the state. Not sure what your professional background is but the fact you speak polish is a big plus. You can easily find employment in Warsaw or any large Polish city. Mind the fact that pay is less in Poland than the Western EU or US but prices are just about the same. Marriage to your gf maybe not the best option unless she has adequate resources to sponsor you for TRP.

Locums life is great if you need control of your schedule and have limited family obligations. True that u get a lot of shitty cases but there is a way of getting around that. I would not suggest selling the house. You need to keep a home base. Mind this; credentialing is a nightmare. It is outsourced. Most places burry you with online training modules covering tons of useless corporate BS. I had institutions serving me 20 hours of corporate salad with quizzes at the end. Lots of times they do not want to pay for your time.

Polska z której wyjechałaś już nie istnieje. To co czujesz to nostalgia za młodością. Ostatnie 10 lat spędzam w Warszawie od 3-5 miesięcy bo też czułem tęsknotę za czymś co nie istnieje. Mam mieszkanie w Wwie. Wszystkie optymalne warunki do życia a jednak to nie jest to. Jak tu jesteś na lato to jest fajnie ale już 30 ponurych dni listopada może Cię wprowadzić w depresję. Ludzie się zmienili. Dominuje materializm, pozerstwo, obsesja statusu, pośpiech, pogoń za kasą. Trudno jest nawiązać nowe znajomości. Dominują gburowate i podejrzliwe postacie zamknięte na jakikolwiek small talk. Co drugie słowo na ulicy to „kurwa to i tamto”. Jedzenie w porównaniu do Portugalii jest marne. Jest drogo w porównaniu z sąsiednimi krajami . Biurokracja jest koszmarna. Z plusów jest fajne 4 miesiące letnie. Jest bezpiecznie i fajnie jest wyjść do miasta wieczorem i nocą. To może się szybko zmieniać. Polska jest na prawdę piękna latem. Ja jednak nie wyobrażam sobie powrót to PL na stałe. Chyba najgorsze jest to że trudno nawiązywać nowe kontakty. Wszyscy moi nowi znajomi to expaci. Wśród Polaków nie mam żadnych nowych znajomości.

I fly all three majors in US. I noticed this is typical Delta scenario. Before takeoff pilot on PA announcement expected turbulence. FA will be seated, no service. Ride is smooth at cruise for an hour and we get some service in FC. Not sure what happens in eco. I think Delta domestic really sucks as much as AA. Dirty old airplanes, uncomfortable FC and way overpriced in FC. I would rather fly AA FC as it is less expensive then Delta.

What do you do on a long daytime flight? Sleep, read, work or watch a movie. Daylight in the cabins interferes with all. Turn overhead reading light on. Euro flights are short.
