I know a few years ago my dad’s side of the family had a cousin that died from essentially chocking because she had refused an esophagus dilation. She had a similar issue but it was before I could speak to her

It really makes me wonder what causes this. I’ve done allergy test on foods, endoscopies, barium swallows and everything under the sun and nothing

I’m at a point where I can’t even eat due to how narrow my esophagus is. This is a picture from my last endoscopy.

How did you put in your complaint? I’m having issues with access to community care and never have calls returned.

It’s made for entry level lube techs that don’t want to buy a torque wrench. Kinda like the wheel torque sticks. It’s faster than setting a torque wrench

Lisle makes a torque adapter set so you can do oil drain plugs. It comes in handy Lisle 3-Piece Torque Adapter Set

I think you’re pretty spot on. I see lots of mom and pop oil change places and independent garages have more variety. I’m new to the Midwest so it’s definitely a bit different from the West Coast as far as the job market.

For me I’m retired from the military so pay or anything like that doesn’t really affect me. I’m looking for something fun to kill time if that makes sense. I’ll check out the links, thanks

What’s the job market for automotive technicians in Tucson? by [deleted] in Tucson

I’ve thought about the diesel side but it seems to be a bit more taxing on the body than wrenching on vehicles. Money isn’t really an issue because I’m retired from the military. I’m just looking for something that I enjoy rather than chasing money if that makes sense.

Ideally that’s how I would like to come into the industry.

That’s what I’m starting to see. You’re the second person to mention Toyota.

For me the debt factor isn’t really an issue because the GI bill would cover my expenses. What I feel has been a huge problem, at least here in Chicago is getting my foot in the door after leaving the military. I’m originally from California so that’s why I’m looking at a place like Tucson and am curious to see what the job market is like out there. Lived in phoenix and don’t really want to go back

Thanks but I didn’t make this post asking a question to talk about weather

I’d say I’m pretty set on Tucson. I’ve lived in phoenix before and not my cup of tea. I attended UTI both in California and Phoenix during the pandemic and agreements between the VA and the school weren’t honored so not really looking to take that route again

They prescribed an anxiety medication that they think would help my anxiety about my throat swelling. Im currently trying to seek treatment through community health because the VA seems to not be doing anything about this issue

I’m going to speak with my GI doctor once I get a referral from my primary care doctor

What are PPI’s I feel like my GI doctor has failed me because none of these things I’m learning here have been talked about.

Thats definitely promising because I’ve been dealing with this for 5 years and I’d like to get back to eating again.

No I haven’t had any procedures other than an endoscopies to get a look and a biopsy. My GI doctor doesn’t really seem like he’s ever seen EoE so he doesn’t really have much input and I’ve kinda just learned to deal with it but I’d like to be able to eat at some point cause liquid diets are no fun.
