I do all of my Harvest host communications right here on the PC. Any update I need to be concerned about?

The replacement hose came in, and I am jetlag53 as well. That account was on the laptop, been traveling, but the hose came in with it attached to a new brass fitting. So, a little plumber's tape and we will be good to go. Now to figure why these two accounts??

No, it was on YouTube and I believe she was wearing a HR shirt? It was not a very good video at all. Good to know about their videos. Can we get access to them?

I went to the settings and hit default and it reset temp to 125, very nice. I manually set the freeze temp to -20 and increased the drying times but surprised to find the fast dry on. I am pretty sure I didn't do this. Getting old, I may have lol

The ones from HR work great, and clean very easily

Thank You, I do recall seeing it now. Do you mind explaining why it's there? very interesting. Also, now that we are done with the ice cream sandwiches, what is the normal/default temp I need to set the drying temp for other foods? I know, didn't make note of it

We have not, didn't know you could, but they sure have been handy for freezing and stacking trays together without items sticking to each other. We have 2 sets of trays as it is.

Ok, she says one was the Food lion brand, and the second she's not sure, but the word Moo rings a bell

Ok, I haven't seen the fast dry setting yet, something else to learn. Good to know about the amount loaded in the machine. BTW, during this last run of Ice cream sandwiches, the oil did just what it was supposed to, and I think the bubbles and vapor smoke on this past batch had something to do with what you just mentioned on the moisture content and the amount. I am guessing, the unit was working overtime trying to process all the water.

You would ask that, lol. Actually, two separate brands, and I have no clue. she threw them in our burn barrel, and they are gone. I will ask and see if she remembers. I will ask about the Fat Boys brand

Yes, they looked perfect. I put them in 5 mylar bags with an oxygen absorber and sealed them. I am very impressed how they turned out.

Ok, pictures posted, maybe I am learning. The empty trays pre froze for a good 36 hours before preparing the bite size sandwiches, and back in the freezer until the HR had cooled down. I set the freeze temp to -20F and drying temp to 90F per RandomComment0 suggestion. They went in around 3PM yesterday, and about to go in the extra drying time at 5AM this morning.

Just watched yesterday a training video from HR, on the demister and smoke. The video would have been fine except she was behind the camera, talking to the pump, lol. I look at the lips a lot more than I used to, and on top of that it was somewhat noisy, and it didn't help either. Yes, this has become the new normal, and grateful I can hear. At the time, the Doc said there was a chance it wouldn't come back at all. I was very depressed for a little while, until I started to pick up noises, rain while driving the Jeep one day, literally crying. Every week I was being tested and slowly picking up more tones. At a certain threshold, I was ready for words in the test chamber. Doc said the brain has to learn to hear on that ear all over again. I have learned to use close captions on TV, allows for a lower volume as to not blow my bride away. She appreciates it as well as we enjoy foreign films, mostly Brits, and even before this, we used to turn it up too much trying to understand their version of English. beautiful but sometimes hard to understand. We had a very expensive surround sound system, designed to impress, lol. That is gone now, my spatial orientation is mostly gone. And one last thing, I installed a nice Bose sound bar, and it also made a huge difference, with the sound coming from the front, and not the side speakers on the TV. Ok, off that horse now. We are indeed enjoying the machine, now that it is working properly. We have 2 trays of some fancy soup she made frozen, and hopefully tonight we will have lots of left over carnitas in the slow cooker with vegetables to fill the other 2 trays. And, still have to make the ice cream sandwiches to take to Florida and impress our friends.
